Comment: I have been searching for an apartment since March 2023 and I have messaged agents from NYR, Goldfarb, to name a few. In fact, I have messaged almost every agent I see in Zillow or StreetEasy. All of them seem to be answer your inquiry but was never seriously there to help. When I mentioned that I have a 3 year old, I usually never hear back from them. When I see them in person or call them, their line of questioning is far more stringent than an embassy visa interview.I believe the broker aside from being a liaison of the landlord should be there to help you out in the process and not there to stress you out and make you feel you do not deserve the apartment.When I met Jerry Leazer, it was different. He was pleasant and very professional. He knows when he has to talk and when to listen. From my experience with brokers in the Philippines who handle prime properties, he is at that level. The way he communicates both written and oral is exceptional. He makes it a point that your doubt is cleared and all your questions are answered the way they are supposed to be answered. No extra dramas or whatever personal emotions just because I am Asian or because I do not speak Spanish. I must say Jerry is an angel because he was there at the right time and the right place.I always make it a point that whenever I make a major decision, I choose the path with the least resistance. After having my viewing, like domino, everything seem to move into place including my credit score. Before I knew it, I am signing the lease and have the keys to the apartment. I made the right choice working with him and highly recommend him in your New York apartment search.

Although I was not approved for the apartment (which was out of Jerry’s control) I do believe Jerry did his best to advocate for me from every angle before the landlord. Which say a lot being that he works as a broker for the landlord and not directly for the potential tenants. He still shows interest and care in the potential tenants he interacts with. My experience with him had been better than any experience I have had with a realtor (Crazy, isn’t it?). His communication skills are phenomenal and he exhibited great knowledge about the apartment viewed. He also did not shy away from all the questions I had during the viewing. He’s warm and very down to earth and still maintains his professionalism with ease. I’m thankful for the encounter despite the outcome!

Comment: My family & I moved to NY and was having a difficult time to find an apartment.I had gone through various realtors and I felt with the realtors I found they were giving me so much trouble to find an apartment and not listening to what my family & I needed when it comes to finding our new home. While I understand in NY things are limited, but I have also felt that many of these realtors were not listening and just wanted to rush through the process to make sure they get their cut.
