Comment: I would highly recommend consideration of David Birch and Barnes and Farms Realty for your contemplated real estate transactions. I recently used them for a very complicated situation in the town of New Baltimore in Greene County. The situation required the subdivision of a large parcel of land which was further complicated by the fact that the parcel was in the New York State land management program. David Birch’s knowledge, guidance and likable disposition were largely instrumental in a relatively quick and successful closing on the property.

Comment: David was the listing agent for a house we recently purchased in Canaan, NY in Columbia County. We contacted him on March 27th -- during week two of the COVID-19 shutdown in New York -- and he got back to us immediately. Several other local realtors during the same time never responded to our inquiries. Either because he has super powers, or is just a go-getter, David set himself apart during the strange conditions of house hunting during the Coronavirus. Hes very affable, communicates well and kept us in the loop during the twists and turns that come along with any house purchase. We appreciated that he gave us space to explore the house, but was ready to answer questions when they arose. Hes not a pushy salesman. Several times during the offer and contract phases, he helped us gain access to the house to double-check features and measurements we had questions about. Not only did we buy the house he showed us, but we feel weve gained a friend in the process.

Comment: We recently sold real estate in the Town of Canaan in Columbia County through Barns & Farms Realty LLC. Our house had been on the market for many years with little buyer interest using countless other brokers who did very little and accomplished even less.
