I was in contact with multiple agents during my search, and Alexia was by far the most supportive and helpful one during my search--and that is not a hyperbole. To put her great service more concretely, there was a new listing I found through another broker which I highly desired to see. I asked this other broker to get me a tour, and after a day, they said they had no response from this propertys manager. I asked Alexia to inquire and within an hour she had a response! More importantly, Alexia is a miracle worker and got me a place which fit all my criteria (there were many). I have no reservations for recommending Alexia and will certainly send all my friends to her as they move into the city.

Comment: When starting my apartment search, it was an incredibly anxious time as it seemed like every other posting is a scam online and the number of postings that just never reply to you after you first reach out. As a result, I started my search probably two months too early but I was lucky enough to stumble upon one listing from the Batra Group.Despite being two months early, Alexia was a superstar from the start. She would follow up in those first two months and would check-in just to make sure shes got the right idea of what were looking for and would help reassure me that were on a good timeline.Then when that one month till move-in period arrived, she acted swiftly and efficiently - it blew me away. Over the span of less than a week, she managed to find 8 different units for us to to tour in one day using our criteria perfectly. She explained how she was only picking ones that were worth our time and wouldnt show us some garbage places for the sake of showing us and she was so right. It was helpful that she picked such a good selection so we could see all sorts of units and better understand what we did and didnt like while not wasting our time.In addition to her skills related to her job, her personality and natural charisma just made it so comfortable to spend hours walking or taking the bus up and down the city. It felt like a friend was just showing us around casually and was great getting to know her as well!Despite having our first application rejected, she rallied in 24 hours to find 7 more units to tour and we eventually landed on a phenomenal spot that we couldnt be more excited to move into that, in many ways, is a steal.Alexia - you were absolutely phenomenal and without you, I know for a fact, Id be way more stressed, scared, and lost about the NYC rental process and journey. Batra Group Real Estate - well done on finding her and couldnt recommend her enough. Comment: I recently connected with this agency for an apartment listed on Zillow. After viewing the virtual tour on FaceTime, and having our application approved, I paid a deposit on the assurance from Matt that it was the only way to hold our place, and to have first pick to sign the lease. After we viewed the apartment in person, it was clear the renovations werent started yet and the apartment wasnt ready to be lived in by our needed move-in date.After some negotiation they understood we couldnt take the apartment and refunded us the deposit even though they technically could have kept it. They put the customer first, and were grateful for their understanding during the COVID health and economic crisis.
