Save yourself time reading the rest of this review, just hire her! We were first time homebuyers when we contacted Suzanne, already facing uncertainties about exactly what we wanted and how the process would work, further compounded by the craziness of Covid-19. By the time our search was over, despite some unexpected obstacles, Suzanne had found us our dream home. There are many things that must be balanced just right by a real estate agent: independent opinion and respect for your priorities, practicality and whimsicality, efficiency and patience, attention to detail and seeing the big picture. Suzanne finds the perfect balance in all of these. Beyond these attributes, she brings a keen knowledge of the local markets across a broad area and an incredibly detail-oriented understanding of everything it takes to buy and sell a home. Comment: Suzanne van der Wilden was great to work with. We had taken a look around the area before finding an agent. My uncle, who is a real estate agent in Chicago, called a few offices in the area for us, to interview brokers. He said Suzanne would take good care of us, and he was right.She took a lot of time with us to understand exactly what it was we were looking for in a house. She was able to help us translate our feelings about specific houses and elements of the houses into what our priorities for a property were. Her suggested listings were always relevant, and helped to focus us on what we wanted.Once we found the house of our dreams, Suzanne really started to earn her commision! She did a lot of investigation into the property and the town records, and found some things that we were able to get corrected before closing (open permits, ect). Without her diligent work we could have had some real problems on our hands.In addition to all the work finding and helping us close on the house, we also closed right as the stay at home orders for COVID-19 were starting to take effect. Suzanne was incredibly helpful, picking up the keys for us (we had to do a closing in escrow as no one could get together in the lawyers offices), and delivering them to us when we moved in.Suzanne cares deeply about her clients and their happiness and is willing to go to great lengths to make sure they are satisfied. I hope we live in this house forever, but if we ever do want to sell it, I would not list it with anyone but her.

Comment: We are very grateful to both Annemarie and Allen for supporting us in the home purchase process. We began working with them in March 2018 and ultimately closed on our home in January 2019. During this time we explored at least five towns across Westchester County. As internationally-based buyers we relied on A & A to keep us abreast of new properties and often relied on them to do walk throughs on our behalf via video call or photos via email. They were always super accommodating and I cant remember them saying no to anything. When we were in town they made themselves available to fit our schedule. When we needed some advice on the best way to finance the home we eventually purchased they introduced us to some helpful people who helped us along our journey.
