He managed to help give us great market color on the building where we ended up buying an apartment and we maintained a relationship throughout the years so when it came time for us to find tenants for the apartment as it became too small for our expanded family we went through Katherine Kennedy in the team who made an amazing job marketing the apartment at a price that attracted many visits during a two hours open house and she got it rented within a week above ask to quality tenants. Rolan Serenys photography skills are also above and beyond and I can say with confidence that doing business with a team so knowledgeable and fun to work with team is invaluable. Thanks again!

Comment: SUKKKIIII, she is by FAR the best broker in the game. Working with her was so seamless and easy. She was incredibly responsive, always there for us, even after the lease was signed and was simply a joy. The application process was also very intuitive and easy. As I was apartment hunting I came across another application that asked for everything, might as well asked for my first born child and it was extremely tedious. Brick & Mortor however used a portal with an easy to navigate UI. Once we submitted everything we were approved first thing the next day.I can’t praise Suki and Brick & Mortar enough.

When we decided to leave the city & sell our apartment, there was only one team to call: David Soltero and Rolan Sereny with Sereny & Soltero.David & Rolan provided white glove service from start to finish as they guided us though the sale process. From the first meeting to closing day, we were blown away by their attention to detail and professionalism. Their research provided us with incredible insight into the sales climate, and we were happy to find that our preferred listing price matched comparable units in the area.From there, they helped us with the presentation of our apartment so that its best features shined through. Our unit was market ready in a few short weeks, complete with visually rich online & print marketing materials and a very high end video package showcasing all of the amenities of our apartment, building, and neighborhood. Last summer she and her team worked on helping us fill two vacancies and accomplished it in a record time (within a week!) at above market rate! She and her team took time to understand our needs and the kind of tenant we are looking for. They did all the work starting from advising on the best ways to market and price the apartment, taking pictures promptly, listing the apartment, screening the tenants, helping us with making the best choice, and signing the lease at the end. They worked through all of the details and stayed ahead of every situation that came up. Katherine specifically is meticulous in organizing information and making sure every detail of the tenant application is verified and put together in easy to read way. They promised to deliver white glove service and followed through, even exceeding our expectations. After working with several frustrating rental agents for an apartment, I was expecting the same lack of effort from Jason as well but boy was I wrong! Jason was very accommodating to me and my situation given that I was looking at rentals from across the country and needed to view units virtually. At one point, I was actually worried that this was a scam brokerage because of how professional and willing Jason was to answer my billion questions and take me on multiple FaceTime showings. This is treatment that I’m not used to from NYC brokers! The process was quick, straight forward, and hassle free. I love my place and the landlord is a great fit - thank you, Jason for everything! Although he was an agent representing the landlord, he was super thorough in examining every nook and crevice, to ensure the apartment he was showing was in impeccable condition (even more than the potential tenants). Without being asked, he checked all lights, appliances, and faucets, etc., making note of any item that needs to be examined or fixed before our move-in. Rolan and David accompanied us to open houses and were our first line of defense against some sleazy sellers’ agents—asking questions about the houses that we wouldn’t have thought to ask, and warning us against potentially troublesome homes while also finding us several homes we loved.They went to bat for us in difficult negotiations for a house that we didn’t ultimately win our bid on, were along for the ride lending encouragement while our mortgage lender tormented us for months on end, and then went through hell and high water to negotiate a reasonable price for the house we ended up buying. At the same time, they quickly found a buyer for our condo— through their thorough advertising and outreach, as well as recommending an accurate and competitive listing price. We ended up selling for a profit which enabled us to renovate the new home.David and Rolan were constantly available to answer our questions, guide us through New York real estate hell, and they diligently worked behind the scenes to make both of our deals happen. Basically, you will sleep better if you let him handle your buying/selling/rental. He will not steer you wrong.I have confidence in this guy. He is top notch. Look no further. I do have all the transactions to show the number of times I have chosen to work with him. On top of it all, I do not even live in NY which makes it even more challenging for him. Bless his heart, he even oversaw a list of about 20 work items that I wanted the handyman to work on to get my condo ready to be put on the market. Thank you Rolan for doing such a wonderful job. Comment: I recently purchased my first home and it absolutely would not have been possible without Matt Eller. Being that it was my first home, I required a lot of hand holding and didnt have a huge budget to work with. I had found myself in a position where I was quite literally googling Brooklyn based brokers. I stumbled across Brick and Mortar, and Matt got back to me incredibly quickly. We scheduled a phone call later that night, and I just felt completely comfortable starting this adventure with Matt.I found some brokers said they would work with my budget, and then would never show me anything actually within my price range. Matt took the time to really understand what I was looking for in a place and the type of neighborhood I wanted. The place I ended up purchasing ended up being a suggestion of his, that I dont think I would have necessarily gone for otherwise. I had originally had my heart set on a 1 bedroom, but fell in love with a studio Matt showed me. Im sure my own ignorance of how things work showed throughout the process, but Matt never made me feel out of place or anything when I asked a seemingly dumb question. He made sure the process never got overly stressful and was there every single step of the way.A couple months on, and Im still completely in love with my new home and neighborhood. Matt is a wonderful advocate to have in your corner during the home buying process- Id recommend him to anyone. I would definitely use him again in the purchase of my next home!

Comment: Loved my experience with Matt Eller! I was a first time home buyer and really felt like I could trust Matt to take me through the process. He seems to also have good relationships with people in the industry which says a lot. its worth noting he is an attorney AND has bought and sold apartments for himself! Huge advantage. So he understands the process from all angles. I also trusted his experience and his general sense of what was in my best interests. Its easy to get too excited about just winning the place and easy to forget that it cant always go exactly how you want it to. That said, he helped me stay rational (and sane) throughout. Hes an excellent negotiator which is very reassuring in a tight market! Will definitely be using him again
