Comment: To be honest, I was skeptical of Brookliv at first due to the lack of google reviews at the time I was searching for my apartment--I ran into some sus agents and brokers so I was wary of getting scammed--but my overall experience with them has been positive. My agent Abraham was very quick to respond to any questions and when I wasnt able to view my apartment in person, he kindly facetimed me to show me around until I could check it out at a later time. The company also helped me along with the many questions I asked along the way and I am pleased because I got the apartment I wanted! I would recommend making sure you ask questions if you are ever unsure of anything because they will do their best to answer them. The only downside of course is having to pay a broker fee, which for most is expected.

Joesph, the broker who I got in touch with through, was absolutely great!He was very friendly, but did not give any pressure on signing a lease. Comment: My partner and I were looking for a modern and spacious apartment in Brooklyn. After pulling up the properties available at Brookliv we met Anne and she showed us four properties that we were interested in. We applied for one that we wanted and sadly the owner of the property was not available to review our file and make a decision. So Anne communicated with us in a timely manner and showed us four other properties that she had on the market. We found one we loved even more and Anne was able to secure the unit for us within hours. Best of all this was at no fee to us. We signed our lease today and move in on Monday! Excited to start a new chapter of our lives. I will definitely be contacting Anne and Brookliv the next time I am in search of an apartment. You can tell she is legitimately on your team and hopes for the best for you. Comment: These guys have great listings and really helped me narrow down my search for an apartment in a roommate match-making situation. Is Brookliv the same as a Corcoran or Brown Harris Stevens? No. They cater to a different audience and it is a transition from your traditional full-service real estate firm if youre used to that. You have to do a lot of the learning yourself and you have to be very prepared, organized, and firm to get what you want. Al was very helpful in coordinating the details of my search with the management companies, but there should be reasonable expectation of what youre getting.

Comment: I moved to the city last year. My last realtor experience was a DISASTER. So much so that my roommates and I actively avoided their listings. Working with Brookliv was night and day. They were polite, attentive, honestly answered all questions, and reviewed the contract with us. If they didnt have an answer on a property, they promptly found it. Comment: I had a way more pleasant experience apt hunting this time around through Brookliv than with EXR. There were some minor hiccups along the way (agent misspoke on some amenities included with apt, still waiting on some additional info) but they were very knowledgeable with the lease terms and took their time explaining everything to us. Finding an agency that you can trust in the city is hard. I would definitely use Brookliv again in the future .

Comment: I just want to take a second and give some love to Anne. She is AMAZING! The best realtor I have worked with by far. I instantly felt like I had her trust and her word. Thats hard to come by in NYC, especially when you hail from the Midwest. Anne spent nearly an hour and a half with me, and she didnt rush or push me into buying anything. She walked me through each step of the payment process thoroughly and listened to all my (and my roommates) concerns. She even gave me her number so that we could stay in touch if I had any last minute questions about the place. And the apartment in Crown Heights is beautiful! High-end is Brooklivs motto. I first met the great people at Brookliv months ago when my frantic search for a suitable apartment began. I couldnt make a decision at the time because I was traveling abroad and hadnt spoken to my current landlord about leaving my tiny digs for something more appropriate for the life I plan on leading. I went abroad for nearly 2 months, and when I came back, without missing a beat, the Brookliv team picked up my case again without any hesitation. The second agent they assigned me, Zach, even accommodated my terrible long hours working in advertising and stayed late to show me an apartment well after working hours.
