I cant even begin to explain how helpful she was in my apartment search with my other two roommates. As a newcomer to NYC, I was clueless about how the renting process worked and after going through 4 brokers over a month before I met her. Kacey was our saving grace and guardian angel. Comment: I came across Pavlina during my apartment search. I thought she was just one of them, but turned out she is the one and only. She actually knows about the apartment we would visit ( most agents I worked with visited the apartment the first time as I did). She actually knows A LOT about the market and the neighborhood. She ACTUALLY has a relationship with the owner (instead of just showing it). Mostly importantly she understood what I wanted and was on MY side (instead of telling me how fast I should jump on whatever she shows me) and told me to make sure I get the place I really want. I realized how lucky I was to have her after I worked with other agents in the city and decided to work with Pavlina only. And through her close relationship with owners we finally saw the apartment we wanted before it hit the market. Now this is what I am talking about, a truly dedicated, service-oriented and highly professional agent. There is no way StreetEasy can beat that.And along the way we had so much banter and laugh and it wasn’t as agonizing as I thought it would be to find a place in NYC. However, after her tireless search, she finally found us a luxury apartment unit that perfectly met our commute requirement and budget. Comment: In a day and age where its so difficult to find true value in a broker, Afik defies all odds!My fiancee and I met with Afik nearly THREE MONTHS ago and he immediately understood our desires. While we missed an opportunity on one unit (because my fiancee and I were too hesitant to pull the trigger), Afik immediately understood our needs and what we were looking for. He then stayed in contact over the months, showing us units throughout the neighborhood (even 9 AM on Sundays -- talk about hungry and accommodating) until finally the perfect unit became available. Afik was able to show us the unit and we immediately locked it up before it even hit market / StreetEasy. There are many brokers who are out there collecting unearned fees, Afik does more than earn his fee and brings amazing value to table. When that apartment didnt work out, Gary went on the hunt and it was easy to tell from the start that this guy is a hustler. Having a background in the mortgage industry Ive worked with hundreds of brokers and its easy to tell the ones who care from the ones who dont. It was instantly clear to me that Gary genuinely cared about finding me a good place. He met me again that night to do a walk through of 4 units that were available in the building and then he met me again the next day to do a final walk through. We met with Joseph in the morning and from that point on we knew we had the right Agent. He showed us a number of places that fit what we were looking for and left us with awesome choices. Joseph listens to his customers and really knows Manhattan. We were not the easiest of renters to settle, but he stayed patient and was determined to find us our next home. In the same day of meeting with Joseph we found our apartment and it has been the best. Comment: I was very glad to meet Jasmin Sasson from Caliber Associates . i just moved to the area and i was looking for a no fee place in the midtown west , so when i first look nobody was replaying to my emails that fast like her . She diffidently knows her job and showed me multiple buildings to choose from . Her ability to make everything easy was outstanding even was about to give up she was still email me new offers , extremely honest person to deal with and highly recommended agent .

Comment: This review is for Caliber Associates but contributed to Walter Too solely. I do not know where to start to say about my experience with Walter. This is my first apartment ever in New York, even in America and I do not know how I would get through it without Walter.He was, not only professional, informative, but also very helpful. I never like to deal with brokers but I now have a totally different mindset after meeting with Walter. On the 1st meeting, he showed me other options rather than just the one I asked for, which is very considerate for him.It was not an easy experience with my very 1st rental because of many factors but I am thankful that Water helped me along the way with almost everything, even setting up my apartment.I would not think twice before recommending Walter to any of my friends.Once again, thank you Walter.

We were high-maintenance clients bringing a series of complicated obstacles, yet Afiks enthusiasm, flexibility and positive attitude didnt waver for a second. Throughout our entire search he was incredibly responsive, understanding and insightful, and he really looked out for our best interests. He always went the extra mile for us - helping coordinate alternative payment methods, taking measurements of a place himself because there wasnt a floor plan, and even negotiating an unexpectedly great deal for us. Comment: I had the pleasure of working with Afik Azulay from Caliber Associates over the past two weeks during my frantic Manhattan apartment search. By way of background, I am moving from Austin to New York for a new job in a matter of weeks. Limited by time and being physically out of state made securing an apartment in the city an almost impossible task.Thankfully, I was able to connect with Afik via Naked Apartments. Within minutes of speaking to Afik, it was clear that his attention to detail, personable qualities, and resourcefulness placed him on a level that far exceeded my expectations. I had previously tried working with other brokers which I found to be largely unresponsive, possibly because of my time and logistical constraints. We were with him from 9.30 till 7 PM and at the the end of the day the contract was signed and we had an amazing apartment. Comment: As we all know, finding the right apartment in NYC is no easy feat. However, my experience with Caliber and Associates was extraordinary! Unlike other brokers that bait and switch your experience when searching for a new place to live, I was shown apartments that were exactly what I was looking for. That way this efficient process yielded desired results quickly. Also, once I was able to find the right apartment in my desired neighborhood, the paperwork process was seamless and not arduous. Comment: My husband and I are relocating from Chicago to NYC because of my new job. We had heard that the process of securing an apt in NYC was very time consuming and difficult. Our first night in town on our apartment finding trip, we were perusing units on Cragslist. We found a unit in UES that we liked, so we contacted Jennifer Peterson. Even though it was rather late, she replied right away. We met her the next morning and proceeded to see 7 units she planned for us based on our priorities and needs. She was very friendly and taught us a lot of things about NYC that we might not have otherwise known. She was full of insightful tips about ways to enjoy the city and some in an affordable way! After we looked at all the units, she told us to grab some lunch and talk it over. She stayed in the area in case we were ready to make a decision that day, and we were! She met us again at the leasing office a couple hours later and we applied! Jennifer made the process incredibly smooth and stress-free. I will definitely seek her out in our next apartment move!

Comment: Steven is great to work with. He is very knowledgeable about the area and about the various buildings in the neighborhood and beyond. I really appreciate his honesty about the various properties, as this was very helpful in our making an informed, quick decision at a time when apartments are renting quickly. I was receiving incomplete or occasionally inaccurate information from other brokers, so it was great to work with someone who really knows his stuff. When we were ready to apply, he let me use his office to print out all of the application materials to ensure we were able to apply as soon as possible which helped to make sure we got the best shot at the apartment. He was very accessible throughout the entire process. He texted updates for the initial viewing and kept me updated throughout the application process from submission to approval. When it came time to sign the leases, he even came to my office to help make the process as easy as possible. Definitely would recommend working with Steven on your search!
