Based on our wants and needs he found a number of homes that fit our criteria and then he would meet with our daughter and son-in-law after hours to view and provide a Facetime viewing for us. When our interests shifted from the islands to north Burlington, Evan found two townhouses that we were interested in. He helped us craft an offer on the first one that I dont think could have been better but the market was such that the highest bidder took it with an offer over $ 20,000 more than our offer. Another unit came available on a Friday, Evan helped us put together an offer and it was accepted on Monday. I think Evans experience in making offers made this an offer the seller couldnt refuse. He also helped us get through two closing as the mortgage companys financing was not done properly and we had to close a week later for a cash deal. I think his skill and experience was what got us thru the second closing and we have been living here for 6 enjoyable months. You cant go wrong with Evan as your broker.

The housing market in Vermont is hot, and she suggested we get a pre-approval before looking and do most of our own searching based on our criteria and make a list of those we wanted to try and see. This was paramount. We were driving in from Chicago and had 3 days only to look, and covered a good area of the state. Comment: Joy Gess was our CB Realtor for our search for a retirement home on the lake. She was a terrific person to work with, friendly and a pleasure to get to know. We had specific criteria and were indecisive but she always was patient and open to our suggestions and needs. Comment: Evan Potvin was amazing to work with! My wife and I searched for houses in grand isle county for awhile, Evan didnt rush us at all and let us take as long as we needed. He never pressured us and had great knowledge of the champlain islands
