Comment: First of all, I wanted to say that Dominic represented his real estate agency to perfection. He made sure that everyone who was interested got a fair shot at applying and viewing and even meeting the owner of the property in less than one week. He gave us reminders of appointments and paperwork needed, and even offered to help in anyway he could. He gave us all the time we needed viewing, and we were able to start the application process, have a second viewing if needed, and have the owner interview us along with other candidates. While he represented the owner, he was actually quite a gentleman making sure that the prospective tenant was positively and properly presented . They gave everyone an opportunity to ask questions, including the applicants. I can’t say enough about his professionalism and how I walked away feeling validated as a human being when another real estate agency who originally had an open house did not speak highly of the owner and was busy handling other business on his phone while only giving us 5 minutes to self view with no application or contact information available to follow up nor had answers to our questions. While we are awaiting a decision from the owner, we know that we were properly represented, and trust Concrete Jungle Realty to find us that future home that will fit our needs- whether it be this one or another one that they have a great and personable owner relationship with. Due to the martlet the house hunting process took nearly 2 years. However Dominic never gave up on us. Comment: Apartment hunting is easily the hardest thing to do in NYC. Unrealistic prices, flaky agents and nightmare landlords make moving about as fun as walking through Times Square during holiday season at rush hour. Or any season. At any time of the day. Enter Dominic, the nicest realtor I’ve ever worked with, and certainly the first to have the tenants best interest in mind (I never understood why we pay a fee when agents clearly work for, and protect landlords). He got me and my BFF apartments in the same building (mission impossible according to everyone else I asked), negotiated pricing, renovations and a longer lease on our behalf without hesitation, and got it all. I didn’t do anything but pay and sign, and that’s how it should be. Hands down the first, (and probably only) time I’ve ever payed a brokers fee without tears and a little self-loathing. You can’t go wrong with this guy, he’s worth every penny!
