Comment: We worked remotely with Caitlin True, which has the potential to be a wild ride for everyone, but I can say without reservation Caitlin made it a wonderful experience. While professional and insightful about the market she was equally enthusiastic about our search. We weren’t in town for walkthrough or closing but she took us on a thorough video walking tour. From first notifying us about a house in the market that fit our criteria to closing, she was there ever step of the way. We couldn’t be happier.

Comment: If I could give a thousand stars I would. Caitlyn was our agent and we did not find a house in original set location at our choice. We were moving from Fl or NY so it was a tedious process. Caitlyn stayed on top of our transaction and answered all of our questions promptly. She went way above and beyond and never got frustrated with our questions about the NY real estate market. It’s very different from FL. We also had a survey question after the closing where most agents would not return a call she did straight away and found all of the info so we could rest assured. She is exactly what a caring informed and professional agent should be.

Comment: Jean was absolutely wonderful in facilitating our purchase of a unit at the Whiteface Lodge.We have been going there for 14 years-4 times a year so it just made sense to own instead of renting.Jean helped in every aspect of the purchase and was extremely helpful with any and all questions that I had.I would recommend her to anyone and also recommend Engel&Volkers to anyone looking to buy property in the Lake Placid area.

Comment: My first experience with Engel & Volkers was as a guest of one of their vacation rentals. We were so pleased with their service that we called the office to speak with a realtor about potentially investing in a vacation rental in the area. The minute we walked into the office for our impromptu appointment, it was clear that Engel & Volkers was professional, elegant and a welcoming environment.Fast forward 15 months and we now have 3 vacation rentals that they manage.Blythe Niles Linster, our agent is incredible! She listened to our wants and needs and made sure that our objectives were met. Buying homes from a distance, during a pandemic, should have been a nightmare, but Blythe made the whole process enjoyable and we felt very comfortable with her guidance. Her knowledge of the area was a game changer for us and helped us to make our purchases strategically.Becca and Helen now manage our rentals and they are also incredibly responsive to us and our guests. She went above and beyond in helping us to find a temporary place to live and eventually a home to build. She was very patient with us especially in this sellers market. She spent time figuring out what the must have features of our final home would be and then narrowed the search with us to meet our needs. Comment: My family and I stayed at the Evans Lane Chalet in Lake Placid, NY this weekend. It was clean, and had all we needed for the weekend. The agent was very easy to deal with and the process for reserving the property was smooth. I would recommend renting a property through Engel & Volkers over booking a room at a hotel in this area.
