Comment: Several months ago, I was advised that my landlord was selling the house I live in and that I would have to move. I had been renting that home for fifteen years and “back then” you bought the Sunday paper and called landlords directly when searching for a rental. Fast forward to 2023 and how things have changed! I began searching for a place to go using websites like Trulia, Zillow and even Facebook Marketplace. I “put the word out” to friends and family. I asked the realtor selling my home to help me find a place. I thought I was approaching the search the right way. Well, I was very wrong. My calls were not returned, emails ignored, on line applications to Zillow not even responded to. It started to become overwhelmingly stressful. Then I met Moe Hamdan from Gama Group and everything changed. From the very first time we communicated up until the day he gave me the keys to my new place, Moe was amazing. He promptly responded to my first outreach. He communicated consistently and kept me updated every step of the journey. He confirmed our appointments and was always on time. His professional demeanor is courteous and warm. He is extremely knowledgeable about the real estate business and clearly answered all my questions, no matter how peculiar some may have been. He was my advocate to the landlord when I wanted changes before completing an application. What impressed me the most is that he truly cared about the client. He wanted to make sure that I was moving to a place that met my needs and that I would be the right fit for the landlord. The moral of the story is that if you are in need of real estate services you should reach out to Moe and the Gama Group as I am sure that all the agents will hold themselves to the same professional standard that he did. Comment: I returned from Texas nearly 5 months ago and started looking for an apartment immediately. I requested a tour on Zillow alone for approximately 85 Apartments; I received less than 10 responses and viewed seven or eight Apartments. Then I met Moe! It was like meeting an old friend, literally. He was very professional and respectful. I guess I was a good match with the owners request and in a matter of hours, Moe called me to tell me that the apartment was mine if I wanted it. Ha! Was he kidding? Did my search for nearly5 months finally come to an end? In fact, I was offered two appointments by two different real estate agents on the same day within 2 hours apart from each other. Apartment hunting in the hottest market during the hottest season for moving, all from another state, with a unique situation, has been very difficult but Rory was great at accommodating my needs and walking me through the process step by step and getting me access to great options during my search. Next time I search for apartments in Brooklyn, I’ll definitely be contacting Rory for his help. Really appreciate the support and respect he showed me when many other local agents didn’t bother to even respond to my emails.
