Comment: I have so far had a great experience. The leasing of the apartment and viewing at the start was great and still is. The floor plans and pictures are very accurate causing less stress.. Since moving in, a simple email, phone or app message, is all that is needed to sort any issue. The response is always fast and very professional. The staff are totally fair and friendly and… actually enjoy there jobs. Depending on my mood i can always get in touch with Goldfarb. No matter if i am in the mood to email, phone or text via the app. I have always had new renovated apartments so i was not looking for the standard NY apartment experience and was glad to find Goldfarb. If you get a chance with all the renovations I would say jump on apartment here and dont look back…..it is worth totally worth it. A big thankyou, to the management company.

I had emergency flooding on Sunday [broken pea trap] and when I placed the call the super was ringing the bell 5 minutes later to fix the problem. After living in New York for a while and falling on hard times, it took some time after moving to NJ to find a job in 2008. But Ive been working since then. I started out in a studio apartment at Maple Gardens. I moved into a one bedroom in 2020 needing more space to have the rooms separated and to set up my home recording studio for school purposes. Though there are still some things that I need to do to make it a complete home, this have been to place for me since 2013. I really enjoy having a secure living space, and that is Maple Gardens.

Comment: We have lived at Harbor House for 6 years. I’ve always had very few complaints as we are blessed to have an affordable apartment in a wonderful area in New Rochelle. Over the last 6 years I’ve seen the building continue to improve and upgrade apartments and amenities, such as laundry facilities currently being renovated. Rent is increasing but still much more affordable than the new high rises being built downtown. Overall we have had a great experience living here. Elevator, parking, laundry, gym, upgraded luxury apartments, spacious, small playground, communal grass lawn, great maintenance team.

Comment: Been a resident at Maple Gardens for over 5 years and so far its been a pretty nice place to live. Ok, things I love and appreciate about MG - they have 24 hr. onsite security starting at the entrance gate so I feel safe. They actually have an office-like security booth at the entrance to the property where visitors have to get clearance to enter so thats pretty cool; the property grounds are nicely manicured and maintained, I love that each building has a little hub area in the lobby for receiving packages(so thankful for that) and even that area has surveillance cameras so I havent missed any packages to date; multiple modern onsite laundry rooms, onsite parking and the bus to Port Authority NYC literally stops opposite the property. In my opinion, an area in which I think they really shine is their onsite maintenance department. Whether its calling for any repair or to schedule the monthly complimentary pest control service, the service is prompt, the workmen clean up after themselves, and you dont have to be home to get the work done. So overall my living experience at MG has been positive.

Comment: I moved to Drake House on 8/1/22 with my two young boys and I can honestly say I made the right decision. The application process went smoothly. Chris Miller, the leasing director was very helpful, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure my apartment which was being renovated was ready for me by August 1st. I want to thank him and the entire team for their hard work and efforts. The apartment is immaculate! As for the location, I couldn’t be happier! I am within 5 minutes from Hudson Park Beach and Glen Island Park!! The area is quiet and the community itself is very well maintained. Furthermore, I like to give appreciation to the Maintenance department for their quick turnaround on my requests which were all handled within 24 hours!! I made an urgent request yesterday as my pendant fell down the bathroom drain.This pendant was given to me by my mother 19 years ago, may she Rest In Peace. I was torn when I thought I lost it forever. I quickly contacted maintenance and told them the situation. They sent the super up within 3 hours and he recovered it!!! This meant the world to me! Thank you again Goldfarb Properties!!

My new studio apartment has a renovated bathroom, lots of natural light from the three windows and double door closet that is spacious for a single person. I updated the shower fixture and maintenance was very helpful by installing it, patching up the wall and adding fresh paint. My request was handled within a wk from placing the order. Thank you!

Comment: My wife and I have been in the Essex County location for almost 2 years now. I cannot recall one time when we requested help and it was not rendered! Maintenance is amazing!Security is great also but I dont appreciate them calling my phone and knocking on my door at 2am.We do light cleaning DAILY and deep clean once a week--WHERE ARE THE ROACHES COMING FROM?? We really like the complex and really appreciate the service we receive but LORD, the buildings are FILLED with unwanted pests sneaking in our apartment.

I dont have to worry about any uninvited guest just popping up on foot or in his/her vehicle security here at Goldfarb property DO their job.!!I had a small issue in my apartment, so I contacted the maintenance department . I didnt have to wait two or three days later !! The issue was taken care of the very same day a half hour later .I would have sold my self short if I had listen to the negative reviews I read online before moving into Goldfarb properties . Comment: A well manicured landscape with a wide variety of foliage just compliments the vintage property located right on the beach. The private court yards with fountains, play grounds and a gym allows residents to enjoy quality time without the hassle of traveling. Conveniently a shopping center is located right on the property, which makes shopping a pleasure, especially when you forget an item or two. Coming home to private parking is so relaxing, knowing that you will always have a space, indoors or outdoors. The staff is always present, helpful and courteous. And the 24 hour security, that actually patrols the property 24 hours puts your mind at ease for you and your family. They are also working on many upgrades in the complex. They have not only been renovating all apartment units, but the exterior aesthetics such as all new landscaping and re-paving all parking lots.

In the future Ill only enter one request at a time, since I had entered the problem of the noisy external fan on the refrigerator with another request and it was not taken care of.When I got home last night the ice trays were still not making ice cubes fully firm. We turned the temperature to the coldest and this morning the ice cubes were firm. Ill see what the situation is tonight. I will have to throw out frozen items that were spoiled over the 48 hour period last weekend.Thank you.

The landscaping is groomed, my building in quiet and clean, when reporting an issue, the response time is quick and thoroughly handled. My only complaint would be the receptionist (not sure if theres more than one), but at times it appears shes not very happy and she talks more than she wants to listen.

Management communicates well via email and visual announcements throughout the building. They are responsive to my emails and service requests. They also try to engage with the tenants through social media and community projects. I recently attended their virtual Financial Wellness Workshop and learned a lot from the class. Comment: Landscaping for Wavecrest Gardens is very well maintained (nice view to look at); maintenance responds quickly if any issues; buildings are clean. Every now and then - but thankfully not often - extra cleaning attention is needed in the basement (where the laundry room, recyclables bins, bins for large garbage bags and some additional exits are).It’s not perfect (no place is), but it’s not a dump either. It’s very nice; affordable (compared to out of control high rents elsewhere). I’ve been living at Wavecrest Gardens for 5 years and am satisfied for the most part. Love the 24 hour Security on the property. Also love that if I can’t change my light bulbs in the ceiling (I’m 59 years old with arthritis and bad knees), I can put in a maintenance request & it’s quickly done for me. As long as Wavecrest Gardens continues to look out for it’s good tenants, I am content/happy living here.

Comment: I really enjoy the service at 1700 Grand Concourse. The building is always clean and maintenance does an excellent job. You call and they’re at your apartment within the hour. Only complaint with this building is the laundromat dryers are to expensive. Unfortunately I think I’m going to have to move because my apartment is to small and I want to stay in 1700 or 1770 but I can’t afford the rent. I’m very upset and sad because I don’t want to move.

Comment: I have been a tenant with Goldfarb Properties for almost 20 years. This is the first time I have ever read any reviews pertaining to my landlord and their management team. Everyone has a different experience but mine has been great. My super Adriano and his team Vinny and Jose are the best. My building is always clean. Garbage is picked up daily even over the holidays. Repairs are completed within 24 hours. They are attentive and go over any beyond to resolve repair issues. As far as a management team they are heros to me. I have gone through some serious health and financial issues during periods of my tenancy and had it not been for the understanding and kindness of Goldfarb Properties I would be sleeping in the street. You cant please everyone. I find that most of these negative reviews are just over the top negative.

Comment: Ive been living at the Bronx location for over a year and I enjoy it. I agree with most people, most times that I call goldfarb I get a rude person with a nasty attitude. I especially remember this when I was looking for a place to live. The super in my building is very helpful from day one I remember I had a leak from the apartment above me and he had a quick response. The building is surprisingly quiet. I never have to complain about noise, the building has great heat also. The maintenance department is flexible too. I work 9-5 Monday through Friday so if I need anything fixed it would have to be on a Saturday and I never had any problems with this . I also like having laundry in the building too.
