Comment: My fiancé and I are two native New Yorkers returning back to Brooklyn from the Midwest. A month into our apartment search, we saw places we liked go off market within a day or two. We knew we had to be more aggressive by applying to places before getting to see them in person after seeing at least a dozen videos that weren’t a right fit. We found a place we loved within our budget with Groome realty. The “good faith deposit” and application fees were surprising to us being out of town for the last 3 years.It’s a lot of money up front and you might question if this is a scam but it’s not. You really do get what you pay for and we had Liv’s undivided attention unlike a lot of the other realtor’s we worked with. She called, she texted, and she kept us updated every step of the way and even offered to show us other listings while we waited for our application to be approved. Thank you to Liv and to the Groome team for making this a seamless process. We are so excited to move into our new apartment!

Comment: Moreen is the only real estate broker Id want to work with in Brooklyn.Moving to a new city can be, as Ive learned personally, a rather challenging experience. Taking the time to find apartment rental listings in Brooklyn, see what location they are in, the amenities, public transport, and not to mention safety of an area is stressful and time consuming. Add to that, taking the time off from work to travel on site, see the rentals for myself, rather overwhelming.Moreen took the time to take care of all of that for me. Instead of me sending her listings I liked, she would, after calibrating what it was I was looking for, send me listings, in great neighborhoods for amazing prices that I honestly dont think I would have had the time to find for myself.Extremely grateful for everything that she and Stella at Blue Egg Realty did for me. The patience, professionalism, and compassion (not to mention her extensive network) shown to me during this rather stressful period of apartment hunting will not be forgotten, and of course, landed a place I love.As stated previously, I would not want to work with any other Broker if I had the option. That listing ended up getting rented, but Moreen was by far the most responsive and helpful estate agent we came in contact with on the app. She helped us find an even better apartment. You could tell that she really cares, and is honest. She listened to our wants and needs and helped us find an amazing apartment. Moving from out of state to New York during a pandemic can get really complicated, and you want to make sure you have somebody you trust, especially since we couldn’t see the apartment in person. Comment: Ive had bad experiences with other NYC broker firms in the past so I was kind of hesitant to go through Blue Egg Realty, but I decided to take a chance given the good reviews and Im so glad I did! Moreen was great to work with, incredibly prompt and responsive, and put in a lot of work to get us the place we wanted! The apartment we were originally interested in wasnt available but she was able to set us up with another apartment that had more amenities than the original (we now have in-unit laundry and a dishwasher, two things I never would have dreamed were possible within our budget). She advocated for us on the landlords behalf, I have no idea what she said or did to convince him to take my fiance and I on as tenants but Im pretty sure we wouldnt have gotten our new place without her! I had no idea apartment hunting could go so smoothly, cant recommend this company enough, Ill definitely be using them again when were ready to make our next move!

Comment: Exactly a year ago me and my husband started our apartment searching,we came across an ad on streeteasy and contacted the agent.We met Dave on that very day, he was courteous and down to earth and we had a good feeling from the get-go.Dave drove us around and showed about 4-5 different apartments until we hit the jackpot - Our current, beautiful brownstone apartment!We didnt feel rushed for a second and trusted Dave when he recommended going for it and drop the initial deposit and fill out our applications ASAP since it was August and places like this doesnt stay available more than a day or two, and he was right - we were competing head-to-head with another applicant from a different firm, but Dave pulled his strings with the landlord (said he knew him personally) and we were approved the next day!This review have been long overdue, we still live at our current place and are not planning to leave anytime soon but when we do - we know where to go :)

Must be.I had the pleasure of working with Leo from this office after being referred by a friend of mine.He is one of a kind in this market based on my past experience. He has great energy, communicates very well, and understand your needs quickly.I knew what I was looking for and he got that very quickly. He had very good options to offer that were far better than what I found online or that was offered by other brokers and for good prices too.He doesn’t charge broker fees from the tenants and he will even negotiate for you with landlords to get the best bang for your buck. Seriously! Very very very highly recommend him for your next apartment hunt.
