Other family members, also, relocated to Southern, CA, over the years, most recently my mother-in-law.It was at that point, the decision was made to sell my mother-in-laws home.When looking for a Real Estate Agent, I remembered all of my years in Oceanside, NY, the realty firm Hal Knopf Team of Realtors. Hal Knopf was synonymous with Nathans, a long established restaurant, back then and still there in a smaller footprint, in Oceanside, NY know for frankfurters, hamburgers, fries and seafood.When the decision was made to sell my mother-in-laws home, I contacted them, little known to me at the time, that Hal Knopf passed away several years ago and his daughter, Cory, took over the business. Although I never knew or met Hal, I spoke to Cory, at length.When we spoke, it was like I knew her and the entire family for decades. Comment: We worked with Cathy twice, when I purchase the house and 5 years later when we sold it.Both times she was extremely patient with us, explaining everything we needed to know as buyer and then as seller.When we purchased the house, she organized visits to all the house we wanted to see and she asked the former owner to allow us to visit multiple times, before we made up our minds and placed an offer.When we sold the house, she was able to find multiple interested buyers right away. We practically had multiple offers in the first 2 weeks.That told us that the price was just right.She always went the extra mile for us, even if when it wasnt part of the job. Her attention to details when preparing the house for selling was extraordinary, telling us exactly what needs to be done to stage it the right way.She intermediated all of the communication (pretty extensive) between us and the other side, always advising what to do and how to do it.Seriously, if you have to buy or sell a house, dont even think of hiring anybody else.Shes all-in-all simply awesome.

Comment: I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Hal Knopf Realty and Cory Knopf with all of their help selling my house (which closed yesterday). Marsha Welikson and Donald Ringhauser are outstanding agents who obviously worked hard to sell my home. We listed on May 2, agreed to a price with the buyers by May 11, were in contract by May 22, and closed on July 23. It was a whirlwind but felt very straightforward and simple because of the agents and agency. From a meet-and-greet in December, Cory accompanied Marsha to my house. It was clear that they both knew the neighborhood and market well, and that they were personally invested in the listing--I cant imagine that its common for the head of an agency to attend free consultation meetings with prospective clients.Put simply, I was thrilled with Hal Knopf and would be eager to recommend them (and Marsha and Donald) in a heartbeat. Marsha and Donald were both immediately accessible and took the time to answer every question, even if it seemed basic and low-stakes. They took a tremendous load of stress off my shoulders and got me the results I wanted. There is no shortage of realtors in the Oceanside area, but Hal Knopf should be at the top of your list.
