Comment: I moved into the capital region late last year and the move was so unplanned I had to find an apartment within a week. My first apartment I saw I fell in love with and ended up signing a lease with hamel Realestate. At the first showing I was immediately impressed. The man showing me the apartment was so friendly and helpful. Not was that the first time they were so helpful and nice but throughout the whole entire lease they were always there to answer my phone calls and cater to all my needs. And without any hesitation they always got the job done right and quickly! Any issue you have they will solve it ASAP. Not just was my apartment in amazing condition because this company takes amazing care of their properties they Also take amazing care of their customers. My apartment was very affordable and maintained amazingly. Hamel has by far been the best and most reliable company to rent from. It wouldnt be the same if it wasnt for the amazing stuff that keeps this company as great as it is. I would again rent from hamel in the future and would recommend everyone to rent from them! If you want a great apartment and a great company to rent from hamel Realestate is the place to go!

Comment: I have been with Hamel Realty for almost 10 years. They have responded quickly whenever I have had an issue, and been polite and helpful during all interactions. My AC kept blowing fuses which Bill and his staff spent a long time fixing on many hot summer nights. I wanted to get a dog for my girlfriend, Bill and I were able to have a discussion about it (we still have our dog). I see that some others have had less positive experiences, but in 10 years I have had not had any major disagreements with Hamel. I pay my rent on time, they are friendly and fix things when needed and maintain the property. Thanks guys!

Comment: WE have been renting from Hamel Real Estate for almost 3 years now. He was our choice due to the value . We have a 2 bedroom eat in kitchen porch huge living room and multi purpose room. Bascially a great deal for the money we pay. He also is a pet friendly landlord which is amazing since I have a small dog under 25lbs, and cat. I am also a pet sitter. I applaud him for his amazing response time and personal care towards us. He has actually came out more then once time to follow up on any work that was done or repairs. WE have his personal number because he encourages tenant/landlord communication and they also have 24 hour maintenance which RESPONDS! He offers great incentives for his tenants like a raffle at the beginning of the month for any renters that pay on time.Bill does his best to take care of his tenants needs Bill and his staff have treated us wonderfully. Mike in the office is a gem and amazing. If you want great value, a pet friendly unit and a Landlord and professionally run business then here is the group to work with. If you are looking for a home come here.

Comment: We have been renting from Hamel Real Estate since 2011. We have not had any major issues with our apartment in the time that we have been living here. It is conveniently located close to the real estate office and any time there was an issue, they have been quick to respond and remedy the situation. There has never been a time that we needed to talk to someone in the office and weve had to wait more than 15 minutes! Since living here we have received an updated stove, refrigerator as well as other updates to the property. We have recommended Hamel Real Estate to many of our friends and two couples have also rented from them based on our recommendation. If you are looking for a clean, well priced, convenient living space with a local attentive landlord, I would strongly suggest that you look at Hamel Real Estate!

Comment: I have been renting a studio apartment from Bill Hamel for six months and thus far it has been a good experience.When I first moved in he replaced a sink faucet and repainted a wall at my request, and has since made minor improvements with lighting and installed a new shower head.Recently a water pipe broke above my apartment, and when I called the emergency line, Tim (the property manager) was here within an hour. Before Tim arrived, Bill called me and walked me through turning the water to the apartment off so that more damage would be avoided. Bill and Tim then spent the rest of the evening working on the problem and getting things cleaned up. They returned the next day to finish fixing the place up and there have been no problems since. I was impressed with the short amount of time it took to get this emergency taken care of.I have had good luck with the Hamel Real Estate team, and would recommend renting from Hamel Real Estate.
