Comment: This was the first time searching for apartments for myself as I’m living alone for the first time. I also didn’t have my parents able to help me search in person, only virtually, so I had no idea what the process would look like or how overwhelming it would be. I reached out to many listing agents and Eliza called me one day. She got to know me and what I was looking for right away and had said we could see places as early as that night. From start to finish, the process with Eliza took less than 2 weeks. That included seeing multiple apartments together at lease 4 different days. She was such a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She’s personable, thorough, kind, listens very well and helped educate me about things I didn’t know regarding this process. She always fielded my (many) questions with no judgement and was always open to new ideas. She didn’t push any agenda besides helping me find the best place and deal and really listened to what I wanted. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. She was thoughtful and I appreciated all she did and all of the support she provided me. I felt like a lost puppy walking in to the process and she made it 0% stressful and actually very enjoyable. I even cancelled all other appointments or contact with other agents because I only wanted to work with her. She helped me find a beautiful apartment and I cannot wait to move in. I couldn’t have done it without her! Eliza even helped as much as she could with a building and company who wouldn’t budge on certain things, and advocated as much as she could. Comment: I started working at Highline Residential earlier this year and it has been a mostly great experience. I think it’s really important that new agents and prospective renters/buyers keep in mind that all big real estate companies like Highline Residential, Compass, Keller-Williams, Douglas Eliman, etc. have hundreds if not thousands of agents working under their brokerage. Because we are all independent contractors we don’t tend to spend a lot of time with other people.Between showing people apartments, rental application paperwork, viewing apartments, creating ads, and contacting people/scheduling showings I hardly have time to be at the office! One thing that bums me out is when I hear rental horror stories. There are so many aspects when it comes to working with even a rental in NYC! You know what I’m talking about. There are landlords, management companies, and building leasing agent or landlord agent plus me and my client! If you need someone to help you find an apartment to buy or rent I’d be happy to help. If you are an agent you would be lucky to work at Highline Residential. They have training, room to grow, an excellent tech team, the best app in the biz, and you can choose to work on a team (which really helps the transition into the career and offers guidance and accountability). All in all, the experience you have as a new agent will mostly have to do with you. After awhile you will get it and it will click! Working in New York City and doing what I love is a true dream, most days haha! I’m very grateful that I started my journey at Highline Residential.

She has access to a HUGE variety of off-market listings, particularly in West Village, and shes EXTREMELY receptive to your specific needs and desires as a potential buyer or renter. Even if your price range is a bit ambitious - Shiri will work with you and negotiate relentlessly to get you an apartment youre comfortable in. I recommend and will continue to recommend Shiri to ANY friend looking to buy or rent in the West Village in particular - but elsewhere as well. After my experience with Shiri, I know Ill be reaching out to her for any future renting or buying needs. Read on.My son is moving to NY from CA to attend law school this August. Our apartment search began the end of May. We started exploring websites, social media and real estate offices. We quickly learned the competitive nature of the rental market and also how difficult it is to secure an apartment at a reasonable area for a sensible price.Warren responded to my son’s inquiry for an apartment and offered a time for him to do a virtual showing through zoom. He was upfront about his fee and sent me legal disclosures immediately. During the viewing, it was incredible to see the large group of people attending the open house of a tiny studio apartment. He navigated through the crowd, explained the area and spent an impressive amount of time with us. We lost out on getting the apartment since an application was already submitted within hours.Fast forward, after exhausting weeks of searching, our son found a “no real estate fee” website that led us to believe that would save us money. The person, Jack, who we contacted was rude, unprofessional and identified himself as the property management so that’s why there isn’t a fee. That said, we secured the apartment after our application was approved. We felt like we were cheating on Warren after he spent a lot of time showing us other places in the meantime. When we were asked for payment via Venmo and not to send to a business, we got worried. We also requested to have a family member see it and Jack kept telling us that it was occupied. Before we sent him over $7k, I reached out to Warren. I admitted to him what was happening and asked him if he would be willing to view the very apartment that we cheated on him with and he obliged!Ultimately, we didn’t secure the “no real estate fee” apartment and I feel like we dodged a world of trouble with Jack. Warren continued to search for us without a hitch and made us feel like a top priority. He answered our calls on the weekends, messaged us daily and found the perfect apartment. His fee was not only worth every penny, we also paid a little more so he could be recognized for going above and beyond.When talking to our friends and family in NY, many of them said it’s nearly impossible to get an apartment from out of state. It isn’t just about having the money and credit, but it’s also having the right professional on your side. We cannot thank Warren enough for his work, sense of urgency and caring he gave to us.
