He brought me first to a place that I responded about on street easy, but from there he showed me 3-4 other apartments, and all of them were big for NYC. We have not even seen the rental yet but his demeanor and quick responses are absolutely amazing and he puts you at ease because apartment hunting is not an easy feat.. The previous reps we have dealt with at other agencies have pretty much been horrific, rude and just plain unprofessional. I have asked a zillion questions and Erez has answered each and every one of them and he explained all processes and what to expect. Really appreciate this mate and I am glad we found him. The whole process was pretty stressful because we were moving to the city from California, didn’t know how the renting scene worked here, and couldn’t get anyone to show us units remotely or give us enough time to decide. Cherish walked us through the whole process and even with what I now know were picky standards, she found us an amazing spot for a great price! She knows the Downtown Brooklyn/surrounding area super well and is great with working with management companies too and has helped me navigate any issues we had in our moving/renewal process. Comment: Having moved 5 different times in New York I can confidently say Jonathan Quigley assisted in the most personalized, friendliest and pain free apartment search and signing experience. He made sure to only show apartments that fit within our preference guidelines (no showing up to apartments only to find out its a railroad with no windows but the closet and hallway can technically fit a mattress) and was very active and responsive in getting paperwork moving once we had decided on the truly (nearly unbelievably) beautiful apartment were currently in. He was attentive in our move all the way to the lease signing, even checking in later to make sure were settled and enjoy the space. Comment: After working with various realtors and agents, my wife and I couldnt be more than pleased and relieved that we worked with Philip Valentin and Hillel.Phil was very understanding, considerate, patient, and honest with us through the whole process; even when we attempted to look elsewhere through other agencies and came back to Phil. He accepted us with open and understanding arms, client care and loyalty.We picked up where we left off. We were even guided into drawing closer to a few locations we originally had seen that were on the verge of having down payments and applications submitted for and were entering the status of first come, first serve.Through it all, there was never an attempt to sell the best for the money and commission (as agents from other agencies tend to pressure clients into). Comment: My fiance and I have moved three times before and Nick is by far the best real estate agent we have had the pleasure to work with. He is quick to respond, honest, and tries to get you the best bang for your buck. The first time we met with Nick, he showed us an apartment in Jackson Heights. Although we loved the apartment, we didnt like the location. Weve lived in Sunnyside for a couple of years and we love the neighborhood. We were hoping to stay in the area, but rent has become very unaffordable. Nick gave us the friendly push we needed to explore other areas in Queens. We ended up renting an apartment in Corona which was further out than we hoped, but we love our new home and its close to the park. Nick made the application process quick and easy. Comment: I dont think it can get much better than Nicolas Gutierrez. He was everything we could have hoped for in a broker; honest, sincere, informative, communicative. Not only did he show us the PERFECT apartment, but he showed us several others that were up to par. At no point did I feel like I was being pressured by him to put down a deposit for an apartment we werent ready for, he cared more that we were happy with our decision than anything else, and was willing to show us more (probably great) apartments if we werent yet satisfied. My calls were always answered or promptly returned, he stayed in touch with me throughout the entire process and I was kept up-to-date the entire time. He worked extremely hard for us and I can tell that hes passionate about what he does. Even when we came across an issue with when dealing with the management company, he fought hard to negotiate with them before coming back to me, which I was very impressed with. Comment: I looked for an apartment over the course of one day with Nicholas Gutierrez. I have been looking at apartments for months and decided to try Craigslist to see what I would come up with. I saw an apartment in a prime location and double-checked to see if he was a real realtor. The following day, I met him and he was amazing. He told me the day before what paperwork was necessary and I had everything ready in case we found something that I was interested in applying for. The first apartment was too small and he immediately showed me another unit that he felt I would like based on the needs for my son, myself, and my boyfriend. He was knowledgeable, he wasnt forceful and aggressive, and he was attentive and knew the answer to any question I had. We were excited and decided to go straight to Hillel to complete the paperwork. He was accommodating despite the fact that I took six hours of his time, and was approved for an apartment of my dreams this past weekend. A process that has been taking months took exactly two days with Nicholas. He is caring, experienced, and a good salesman who gets what you want. He considers budgets of applicants and he is honest. Its really hard to find a businessman who is honest. If I didnt meet him, I couldnt find this great apt. When I searched Apt, it was really difficult to find it because I am international person. whenever I found apt, other brokers told me I cant get this apt because I am international person. However he didnt give me up. he contacted owner, and explained my situation. After 20 more conversation, he make deal. I cant express how great it was to work with him. When I decide to move new apt, there were another personal bad news. So, I though that I cant go this new apt. But He helped me at the sacrifice of himself. I were very surprised that he would sacrifice himself this way. Finally, he helps me to move this new apt. I was very appreciative of his efforts. Comment: I am an international student coming to NYC with little knowledge about lease signing procedures in the States (especially the whole credit check part). It was definitely a lot trickier than I thought. Anthony Howell took the initiatives and sent me a link to a US guarantor company a few days prior to my arrival to ensure my smooth transitioning. In addition, I needed to move in within 3 days which was a lot to ask from a broker. He arranged 9 private viewings on my first day of arrival, guided me through with all the paper works on the second day and managed to get me moved into my unit on the third day. That speaks a lot about how efficient and helpful Anthony Howell is as a broker.Also, we corresponded mostly through email as I was not in the States just yet. Anthony Howell was the only broker (out of 5 or 6 other brokers) that responded to my email almost immediately. VERY VERY RESPONSIVE. I am usually very picky about my rentals as You never really are sure how long you will stay at one given apartment and I want a place I can always feel at home. Also understanding that I was in the midst of applying for another apartment, Anthony graciously reworked his schedule to accommodate us and show the apartment within the hour.
