Comment: We had a very positive experience working with Amey and her broker assistant, Levi. Ameys knowledge of the Middlebury area and expertise in purchasing residential land was valuable in our search. She spent as much time as we needed hiking through the land, answering our questions until we were satisfied.When we were unsure about a property, Levi took a video for us before we traveled to the property, which was very much appreciated. Though it took a bit of time and patience, we ultimately found a property that we are looking forward to living on someday!Amey looks like a kind, friendly person and she is! She has a fun sense of humor, and most importantly, she knows the real estate business! And she always responded in a timely manner!! We highly recommend her and her team!

Comment: Like many other overzealous millennials during the pandemic, we decided wed take advantage of the low interest rates and attempt to buy our first home. We found IPJ via a simple online search and reached out blindly in hopes that a nice realtor would reach back out to us. Not long after, Beth reached out for an initial consultation, which began our real estate journey into the unknown.Given it was our first time buying a house, Beth spent hours explaining things to us she otherwise wouldnt have with her more experienced clients. She referred us to all of the service providers we ended up using (i.e. bank, inspectors, etc.), and we could not say better things about any of them. We were also looking at purchasing a home on the other side of the state to open up the breadth of our search, so Beth was able to refer us to another lovely realtor in that area as well. Long story short, even though the market was incredibly competitive during our search, which at times was trying, we couldnt have asked for a more competent, kind, quick-to-respond, and thorough realtor and real estate agency.

Comment: My wife and recently purchased a lakefront lot with the assistance of Sarah Peluso. I’m sure it was one of Sarah’s smallest deals of the year but you never would’ve known it from the total professionalism she showed during the process. The deal could’ve fallen apart at several points were it not for her persistence and diligence. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for real estate in the Middlebury area.

The buyers were a difficult couple, and Courtney handled the situation very well. Her years of experience were evident and she was a worthy advocate for us throughout the sale process.

Comment: Initially, my four siblings and I tried to sell our mother’s home without a realtor. We emptied the house, put in a new kitchen and repainted throughout. The house was about 1.5 miles from downtown Middlebury and had almost an acre of land with it and a two car garage. We were assured by everyone that it would go fast. Well, it didn’t go at all in 6 months. We were now in peak COVID restrictions and we were all tired of waiting for a buyer so we decided to go with a local realtor, Sarah Peluso, of IPJ Real Estate. Sarah walked through the property with us and came up with several reasonable suggestions. She also advised us about state regulations for selling properties such as the required connections for oil tanks and helped us out with the appropriate paperwork that would be necessary at the time of the closing. After making some of these changes, and with the completed forms and documentation in hand, the COVID restrictions eased up We put the house on the market on a Friday and by Tuesday, we had 3 serious offers and closed before the summer began. We were beyond grateful and are Sarah’s biggest fans. You can’t go wrong with the personal attention, the professionalism and the effectiveness of Sarah Peluso and her associates at iPJ.
