Jim and Holli helped get our listing up quickly and easily and for a fair market price. Our story didnt go so smoothly - but it had NOTHING to do with the HUNT team. I wanted to say that first so no one reading this gets the wrong impression. Jim, Holli, Chris, and everyone else on the team are fabulous, helpful, and great at what they do.Everything with our sale started out well, but our buyer backed out at the last minute (and I mean the literal last minute - the day before closing). Then, the second buyer backed out. We were losing hope and beyond stressed. We had to move because of a new job out-of-state. But even when outside stressors were coming at us seemingly at every turn (including a BLIZZARD in December), I knew the HUNT team was doing everything they could.Finally, we found the right buyer. When we decided we wanted to buy a house, the process of purchasing a home seemed daunting, let alone purchasing a home in 2021s crazy market, yet working with Andrew Hofert and his team made it as seamless as possible. From the moment we met at our first open house, we knew we wanted Andrew to partner up with us in looking for our dream home.He is very friendly, patient, engaged and overall finds the perfect balance between being personal/comfortable with keeping professionality. I cannot emphasize enough just how responsive and flexible he was. Rarely did we have to wait for responses when calling/texting him, as he would respond almost instantly, and he was so accommodating and diligent whenever we found a new house we wanted to view (setting up walkthroughs). Ill even add the fact that he was going through a major personal life milestone as he and his wife had a baby during the couple months we were looking at homes, yet he still managed to be responsive and flexible with us, which to us spoke volumes to how dedicated he was to making sure me and my wife found our dream home.In the end, after a couple of months looking at many houses in an unforgiving market, we were able to find the perfect home for us, and thanks in huge part to Andrews diligent communication, we were able to get it at a great price just under our targeted budget (I would dare say that with any other agent, we probably wouldve ended up overpaying for the same home, or same type of home). Weve been living there now for over a month, and the more we get acclimated to our home, the more we realize just how blessed we were throughout the entire process. He tries hard not to deliberately sway you from a house you may like, trying to “sandwich” the negative aspects with some positive features, butI always felt confident in my decision to walk away from a house because I trust Warren’s knowledge and experience. We dragged him all over WNY and even I would have gotten impatient with myself but not Warrren. He quickly learned our taste and when our future home popped up on the market, he just knew we’d love it. We loved working with Warren so much that we asked him to sell our current home at the time and he did such a great job (despite having to face the burdens that COVID19 brought on the real estate industry), it couldn’t have been any smoother. Comment: I contacted Jim Hoffman after he was highly recommended to me by one of the most highly visible and successful Real Estate Companies in South Carolina, Blake Sloan. I am a retired Federal Agent and during my 25 year career moved 5x. During each move I sold my current residence and purchased a new residence. This required me to work with several different Real Estate agents. With that experience, by far the most successful Real Estate transaction was the one recently conducted by James Hoffman. He addressed all the issues and provided excellent guidance, such that once the issues were addressed and the house was formally listed and put up for sale within the 1st 7 days we have 12 to 15 viewings which resulted in 4 offers. The accepted offer was $12,000.00 over the asking price. I firmly believe this was because of the professional and experienced eye Jim provided. My residence was on the market for 2 weeks. Comment: I cant say enough good things about Jim Hoffman. Having already relocated I was dealing with a significant amount of stress over the sale of my home. I did my due diligence and felt I had a good idea of what market value was; however, I was prepared to take a loss because I felt my situation put me at a disadvantage with buyers. I spoke with some folks in the business who confirmed I might have to settle for less. I had worked with Jim almost 30 years ago and it was a very positive experience. I felt it wouldnt hurt to give him a call. Best decision I could have made. Jim was respectful of the advice I was given, but felt strongly my home would sell quickly at the price I was asking, and perhaps higher. His confidence gave me confidence so I had Jim handle the listing. The house sold on the first day...above asking price. I was thrilled. But it didnt end there. After the sale, Jim facilitated negotiations with myself and the buyer over my homes contents. Everyone came out a winner. Jim Hoffman isnt a real estate agent, hes a real estate professional.
