She not only actively sent us really good apartment options throughout, but when neither myself or my partner could see the apartment in person due to work, she would go see it for us. She was extremely responsive and would keep us in the loop at all times. She would truly look out for our best interest and would give her advice on what would work best for us in our circumstance.Kholood went out of her way to insure that me and my partner were settled into our apartment. When we had questions or something had gone wrong not involving Kholood, she would still take matters into her hands and solve the problem for us. I cant recommended her enough to everyone I know!

The team was professional, knowledgeable, very accessible but NEVER pushy.As a first-time home buyer, I was nervous to begin the process, but Jay sat down with me and educated me on the entire process. We discussed my needs vs wants, my price range, location, etc. which helped us to narrow my search. He would breakdown each apartment with me to understand/uncover potential issues, pros and cons.Once we found the right apartment, Jay was instrumental in negotiating the price and working with the seller’s broker. Having worked with them to buy our first apartment, my wife and I now joke about how crazy it is that people use mediocre brokers when for the same price you can have someone like Jay.The Glazer team made the entire buying process a pleasure. Jay has an encyclopedic knowledge of New York real estate. He literally has memorized the nuances of every single building in Manhattan and within each, their little quirks. When we started our process, I sent Jay a long list of street easy apartments that I thought we might like. Within minutes he explained tiny nuances of each unit and why some were good and some were not so. Once he quickly understood our tastes, he only showed us apartments that we loved, and ultimately, our new apartment.The value of working with someone like Jay really kicked in once we got a little closer to the close. After we selected our future home, he thoughtfully helped us craft our co-op package, knowing exactly what they like (and dont like) to see. From there, he introduced us to great potential lenders, lawyers, inspectors, everything. Everyone who he recommended were top notch. I wouldnt rent, buy or sell an apartment in New York without his help. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

Comment: A couple years ago, I had a fortuitous encounter with Jay at one of his listed properties in West Village (which rivals his sartorial taste) and was impressed by his intimate knowledge of New York City real estate market which can be quite tricky to figure out.During the following years, we performed a due diligence on countless properties but Jay was quite happy to come along in this long, protracted journey of looking for the right home. Then we finally found THE apartment and it was during the period of negotiation to closing when I realized how important is it to use an experienced broker with substance like Jay and associate Scott, who really went above and beyond. They answered my texts and phone calls 24/7 and responded positively to all my frustrations along the process like pros with a focus.I would highly recommend Jays Team. Do not ever try to go through process on your own unless your day time job is to buy an apartment. Even then, its not worth it.

Comment: This is my second real estate transaction with Jay and his team, which speaks volume in a city like New York! I initially chose Jay to be my broker over 2 years ago after seeing how well he conducted an open house at a listing I was interested in. After a previous successful purchase 2 years ago, when it was time to move on to the next endeavor, Jay helped me sell my apartment off market and find a new place in Brooklyn. This time around, there were a few bumps along the way, but Jay was always available, stayed on top of things, and helped deal with each situation as it arose. The thing I appreciate about working with Jay is his honesty and communication. You always feel like hes telling you his honest opinion, good or bad, and that he has your best interest in mind. He always answered my calls/text/emails regardless of time of day, day of the week, no matter what the topic, the dialogue was always there and I that transparency goes a long way. I would (and have already) recommend Jay and his team to friends and family. As a first time home buyer, I was very new and unfamiliar with essentially every part of the NYC real estate transaction process. Jay walked me through the entire process with patience, diligence and compassion for my anxieties as a first-time home buyer. Jay is an immense source of knowledge on the real estate market in NYC and his expertise is clear in every step of the process. I actually met Jay over four years ago when I was just starting to stabilize myself financially and curious about the NYC real estate market. He offered to meet and discuss the topic with me and see some apartments, which we did one afternoon. From that point, it took me four years to be in the financial position to actually buy something that made sense, but during all that time he was a resource for me to learn and see. When it came time to actually buy, he was able to provide guidance without ever pushing me, but I was still able to lean on him to help me make smart choices. In my particular case, negotiations were drawn out as was the entire contract/closing period due to some unforeseen complications, but Jay guided me through it and ultimately I got exactly what I wanted, where I wanted, at the price I wanted (I’m elated!). Jay really goes above and beyond for his clients--making each of us feel like we are his top priority. Can’t recommend him enough!
