We knew nothing about the ins and outs of buying a home in New York, but Paul guided us through every step of the way. They say buying a home is one of the most stressful things you can do. Not for us. There was never a single moment of worry or stress because we knew we had Paul in our corner. Once we found the right house, Paul guided us through the offer process and every single thing he told us worked! It was pretty much set it and forget it once our offer was accepted. He kept on top of the commitment dates on the sellers side, our attorney he referred us to made sure we stayed on track with ours and also kept tabs on the seller. The mortgage company was lovely to work with too. She was a true advocate for our interests when dealing with the seller and their representatives. Some issues came up after we signed the initial intent. She advised and negotiated a reduction in the final sale price. She has an intimate knowledge of the area and has well-developed relationships in the community for any issue that may arise. She coordinated many meetings for us with local experts: well water inspection, structural engineer, contractor/construction, and electrician. She provided contacts for lawn maintenance, garbage pick-up and water services.
