Ive owned about 15 properties in my life - this was by far the best experience of working with an agent that Ive had. Susan knows Westchester like the back of her hand, she has in-depth knowledge about everything from wells to easements, and she goes the extra mile to research the property, including tromping its perimeter and digging into town records. Best for me, shes down to earth, friendly, and there was never any pressure to buy. In comparison, Mark offered a team of professionals that specialized in each aspect of the sale. It was a no-brainer to pick Mark, and it paid off. Our house was well maintained but had a few issues. Comment: Our journey to choosing Mark Boylands team began August 8, 2008. Steve and I got engaged the day prior. We had a meeting with our realtor to look at a few condos in Oakridge located in south Salem NY. We fell in love with one property there and that was the first encounter with Mark Boyland )he represented the seller).In the 6 years we lived there; we got married and had our first daughter there. We didnt have a house. We had a home.Over that time we learned Mark Boylands name was everywhere. He sold most of the properties in Oakridge.Steve and I always said if we sell call Mark.January 2015, my husband and I learned we were expecting our second child! With one bathroom; we new we needed to make some decisions.He was just as we remembered: professional; kind and patient (He was working with a 5 mo pregnant woman; a 2 year old &a my better half). Mark went through the selling drill with us. What to expect, what to do etc etc. He put the property on the market with the 2nd Sunday being an open house. Our home was on the market for 10 days at that point. Monday morning we got a phone call from Mark stating a family is highly interested at the asking offer - he said dont get too excited this could just be an emotional statement. Well he was wrong we sold it to that family at asking offer! Oddly; Marks team ended up representing the buyer! This was unexpected and exciting.While the sale of the condo was taking place; we needed to look for a property. He set us up with Pam Testa; a colleague on the team.It was a perfect match! She helped us and more importantly coddled me (a very pregnant me).This baby was coming soon and by what felt like the 100th property we saw Steve and I finally agreed on one.On August 22 (moving day to my dads) baby Violet decided to join the world and the sale of our condo was taking place September 3rd! We seriously could not have planned this!Everyone was so accommodating for us in welcoming our daughter and closing on the condo! Two months later with the help of the lawyers and Pam we bought our forever home and one week later my better half fell ill and admitted in hospital for emergency surgery; hospitalized for 2 weeks; I kid you not; this really happened!).Today; our daughters are beautiful; healthy and growing big the baby is now walker and our three year old is a typical threenager! Steve is stronger than he has ever been and has never been so optimistic in his life!! We both strongly believe we didnt get to where we are without the help and support of Mark Boyland and the entire Keller Williams team.Mark knows Westchester and Putnam county; not just professionally but his roots are here.We learned he even lived in our complex as a child!Buying and selling homes are emotionally for some; especially someone very pregnant! The Mark Boyland Keller Williams team was the perfect match! Everyone in that office played a part in making sure that we were not just satisfied but happy. It takes a team and Mark Boylands is the best! Wouldnt change a thing (well maybe steve needing to go for surgery!)

The previous agent limited the amount of open house showings available while The Boyland Team suggested monthly open houses.
