Comment: Perseverance & Professional, take TWO! Our second property sale, which closed about a week ago, was again only possible with Matt & Erica. Highlights to include:- Multihomed sale at the same time- One buyer backout- One buyer/realtor low-balling- Multiple home inspections and appraisals- Out of state buyer- Multiple finance companies & Realtors- Out of state sale due to us moving ¾ way through the process- Managing the in/outs and details of a ‘unique’ propertyWhile this whole process has been challenging for our family, based on my experience with Matt & Erica in the previous sale (as well as 2 referral sales from friends), I was confident in their ability to help us sell our home in Barre. Their knowledge of the local market as well as every nuance of the real estate process made what could have been a rough road, one that seemed smooth. They handled every bump and diversion, as well as course change with calm, levelheaded, professionalism while still being sensitive to the stresses of our purchase of a new home and eventual move out of state. Additionally, they were realistic about value and price for our home but also encouraging with reminders about the positive aspects of our home during a time of difficult negotiations with a buyer/realtor out to get a bargain. Finally, they handled well the sale of our home to an out of state buyer, while we had moved out of state as well, and all the details from POA to making sure all the ‘I’s were dotted for the sale were taken care of in our absence. I had people looking at my house within hours of it being listed, and the house was under contract two days after it was listed. It was an added bonus that they are located right up the road from me, so any needs I had, they instantly met. Erica and Matt were wonderful in helping me with the sale of my home. Comment: Matt and Erica are very professional, knowledgeable, friendly agents and easy to work with. A year ago, when we were looking to hire a realtor to sell our condo, Matt impressed us with his high energy and positive can-do attitude, so we signed a contract with him. We unexpectedly had to move out of state and this was our first time selling a property, so we were a bit concerned about doing the sale from another state. Matt and Erica graciously agreed and took over complete responsibility to sell our condo. When there were a few things to take care of such as hiring someone to do fire safety inspection, furnace/fireplace/dryer vent/carpet cleaning, buying smoke detectors, hiring a closing attorney, even disposing of some of the items that we left behind, they went above and beyond and took care of everything. They always kept us informed on showings and progress on other things. From our first meeting until the sale of our condo last month, Matt and Erica were always there for us throughout the process.
