Comment: I had a terrific experience working with Michael Meier and his team. When we first met, he connected me with a variety of legal and accounting professionals to help me evaluate my real estate plans. Michael stayed in touch with me for a couple of years while I figured out what to do. Once I decided to sell, I had a few brokers to choose between but knew Michael would be the most ambitious and dedicated agent based on our past interactions. My feelings were confirmed when he executed a successful marketing plan which included a nice video showcasing our home. Michael brought me multiple offers for my apartment in a very challenging market. To top it off, he brought me a great bottle of wine to celebrate! Comment: When I was looking to hire an agent to sell my Greenwich Village apartment, I wanted an aggressive, but professional team to represent me. Five years prior I had a terrible experience purchasing the apartment. The prior sellers broker and attorney were incompetent, uncommunicative, and borderline unethical. They made it very difficult to get the deal finished. Fortunately, when I met Michael he seemed like the direct opposite. He was accommodating and well informed. I appreciated that Michael took the time to visit other similar apartments on the market, so that he could better advise on a listing price. The entire process was seamless, and Michael introduced me to an attorney I used in the sale as well. Recommend highly.

Comment: I interviewed several agents before choosing Michael Meier. I appreciated his confidence and positivity when we met. He even sent me a video after our meeting reiterating why he loved my apartment and thought we would make a good team. It gave me the opportunity to see his face (We wore masks during our meeting due to covid) and see that he was fluent with technology and video marketing. I was concerned about hiring a broker because my last experience with an agent was not a positive one. But Michael really did a great job guiding me through the process and staying in constant communication. Michael brought me an all cash buyer within 4 days of listing. He managed the entire sales process and his entire team was terrific to work with. If you are looking for an upbeat experienced and tech savvy broker, Michal is your guy!

Comment: Two years after selling my father’s apartment, I reached out to Michael to see if he could help me find an apartment to rent in New York. I was living in DC at the time. I only had a short window of time to visit and search for a space. I was fearful that even if I found a space during my short visit, I would lose it to another tenant. Michael had an apartment that he was soon to list in the West Village. It was in a PERFECT location, had a wonderful downtown view, great lighting, the right price and size—a real gem! Because of their collaboration and networking, they really helped me close the deal quickly in my time of need.

Comment: Michael first reached out to my wife and me in 2010 about the possibility of selling our loft in Flatiron (170 Fifth Ave). While we had no intention of selling at the time, he gave us an estimate of its value. and stayed in touch for over three years. In 2013 we decided we would consider an offer but wanted a short and simple listing and sales process. We also did not want to move out of our apartment until we had found our next apartment. Within a couple of days, Michael brought us a buyer who was not only willing to pay our price, but was also willing to give us a 6-month delayed closing. We continued to work with Michael and his team on finding an apartment to purchase on the Upper East Side we finally found an apartment with the views wanted (425 E. 58th St.). Throughout the process, Michael and his team were very responsive even assisting in finding a short-term rental. Since then, we have recommended the team to our daughter and would to others as well. Most important, however, has been Michael’s continued friendship making a quite typical real estate transaction into an on-going relationship.

He explained to me that he had lived in the building for over a decade and was extremely positive about the building. We ended up not connecting with the apartment we came to see but Michael showed usanother apartment that had not yet been listed on the market. There were a lot of moving parts in this transaction, and Michaels strong relationship with themanaging agent and board made a big difference. We took it immediately. We were extremely comfortable working with Michael and his knowledge made the process so much easier. Comment: I was living uptown and wanted to make a change. I had always liked the west village, and when I saw Michael’s listing at 175 West 12th Street, I called to inquire. Michael seemed very knowledgeable about the building and neighborhood. He had told me about some of the other units in the building, and made me feel very comfortable. It can be stressful moving to a new building during a pandemic, but Michael and his team made it so much more comfortable. I’ve moved before, but this time I felt that I could rely on Michael and his team to move me in on time, and facilitate all the paperwork needed. Honestly, I was about to rent another apartment I had seen a few days earlier, but I was drawn to the photos of the listing, so I decided to reach out to Michael. When we spoke on the phone, it was abundantly clear that Michael truly loved the Bromley – he had such wonderful things to say about it.Soon after we spoke, I took a look at the building and was impressed by the light, views, and space of the apartment. I was also attracted to the friendly community that I witnessed. Michael seemed to know every person we passed. After I moved in, I mentioned to Michael one of my favorite bands and he told me about others in the building who love them too. He certainly knows this community!The entire process went smoothly and moved quickly. Michael’s team handled the paperwork seamlessly and were extremely responsive, courteous, and helpful. I asked for some adjustments to the apartment, and Michael and Chloe facilitated getting them done. And to top it all off, when I moved in, Chloe showed up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from their team! Each time, he and his team were a pleasure to work with, despite the fact that challenges arose each time (just life, having nothing to do with the Meier team!). Michael has the most positive and upbeat attitude combined with an extensive knowledge of the market, so we were able to put our complete trust in him.
