Comment: Zhengxi Zhang or Z as many refer to him was absolutely amazing! Looking for an apartment was honestly daunting! I was extremely specific and wasn’t willing to let up on what my wants were! Z spent ample time helping me go through my options showing me my now apartment upwards of 5 times as I went through roomate search!He’s patient and extremely helpful! Answering the million of questions I had quickly and notifying me of any issues! He even went as far as reaching out to my roomates for me to explain the important stuff I struggled with! No matter what you feel about Nooklyn apartments realtors like Z make the experience amazing and when my lease ends and me and my boyfriend move I’ll definitely be messaging Z regarding any Nooklyn apartments available! If you want your apartment hunt to not feel like a chore I honestly recommend him! He’s helpful and enjoyable to be around no matter what the age! Me and my roomates in our early 20’s felt him easy to talk to and work with and even my mom who met him later on a tour felt that he was great to work with and answered all her questions truthfully

Comment: Finding an apartment in ny is a headache in itself. brokers i’ve worked with are typically lack luster, to say the least. worked with a couple men on the nooklyn site and they were fine but they didn’t answer my questions when I asked repeatedly and wanted full control over the situation. immediately i was deterred. enter: Elena Emerson. not only is she timely, thorough, highly organized, respectful, and extremely friendly, she’s also just a flat out great salesperson. from our short encounter i knew, no matter what, she was going to make sure i was in a home, whether it was the one she showed me or not. AND IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY. i mean come on. *slow clap*. long story short, i would refer Elena to anyone, support female brokers, and someone give this chick a raise!

Comment: Zach Barden is without a doubt, the BEST broker that I have ever worked with.We initially connected about a unit that I eventually decided wasnt for me, so he recommended another unit in a building that I absolutely LOVED. Zach was so professional, communicative, and kind throughout the entire process. He worked to understand exactly what I was looking for, helped me to build a strong portfolio, provided guidance and recommendations, and was so knowledgeable about each and every detail. An earlier applicant was unfortunately approved for this unit before my application was reviewed, but Zach went above and BEYOND for me, regularly searching through new listings and contacting listing agents about other comparable units over the course of a few weeks. Lo and behold, another unit in the building that I loved opened up, and Zach jumped on it for me -- he brought me in to see it immediately (I was 100% in), he pushed my application forward, and I just signed my lease today! I truly couldnt be happier, and I owe it all to Zach.He made the process SO easy for me (which is a blessing in this city, haha), and his positivity made it all the more wonderful working with him. Comment: After having a not so good Nooklyn experience the first time I moved in NYC a while back with an agent I won’t name, I had the complete opposite experience with *Ying*. After reaching out about a random listing on Streeteasy we met Ying. The apartment wasn’t our favorite and she took the time to ask us exactly what we did and didn’t want in a space, and came to us with a list of apartments that were perfect for us. She helped us through the search and application, and was an advocate for us through the whole process. Never felt like we were talking to someone who was trying to sell us something, felt like your cool friend who happens to be a realtor and tells you all the good stuff on the DL. Comment: Looking for an apartment in NYC is extremely stressful. I have outreached to many real estate agents, most were helpful and professional. Mr. Kirby Dominick of Nooklyn Reality went above and beyond to assist me with my search and to ease my anxiety and stress Mr. Kirby called me to have an in depth conversation about the real estate market and my needs. Mr. Kirby checked in with me multiple times and he arrange for his colleague Ms. Esther conduct the showing of an apartment. Ms. Ester was also professional and efficient. I put the down payment on the apartment however the application process was delayed due to the managers of the building. While I was waiting, I was able to secure another apartment via another agency. Mr. Kirby did everything in his power expedite the application process. Once I informed Mr. Kirby that I will no longer proceed with the application process, he submitted the request for the return of the security deposit. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service Mr. Kirby provided. I am sorry I was unable to find an apartment with Nooklyn Reality. He was introduced to me by a broker that had him show me an apartment in Bushwick, which wasnt for us. But Sean was! He took the time to really understand what we were looking for and had 3 apartments to show us the same day. He guided us through the application process which made everything so much easier. We found a place we loved on our 2nd outing with Sean, applied and were approved in less than 5 days from meeting him to leases out and moved in less than 3 weeks later. Classic 5 star rating and well deserved as Mike is a professional and that was how me and my wife were treated.It was after we already moved out from the apartment out-of-state what makes me write this review as I feel like our story need to be shared to see how incredible human being Mike was.Several months ago while still living in our NY apartment our son was born and we were expecting his birth certificate. Unfortunately due to COVID issues everything was slower than expected and we moved out before we ever got it, expecting USPS to forward that important document when necessary. Few months have passed and the birth certificate was nowhere to be found and we could not figure out where it ended up. During this time we have been in touch with Mike with the idea that it might be delivered and not forwarded to our new address, although the chances were low as new tenants were already in our previous apartment.Long story short thanks to Mikes proactive approach, he found our birth certificate and promptly sent it to us to our new address. If it werent for him, our son would never get his original birth certificate in his life and we would never find out what happened. Comment: My friend and I requested a viewing through Nooklyn and went to our first showing with Nina. That first place wasnt quite what we were looking for, but she sent us some more options once she understood our needs and really helped our search. I dont think we would have necessarily been interested in the apartment we ended up in if it werent for her knowledge about Nooklyns listings. It has a massive finished basement that wasnt mentioned in the listing or included in the photos.It makes the place absolutely perfect for us. Nina and the rest of her team were always flexible and available for viewings and quick to answer questions. Other brokers kept showing us one bedroom apartments and insisting we can put up walls and just trying to pressure us into considering things that clearly werent right for us. Nooklyns listings were much more accurate than a lot of what we saw elsewhere. When it came to negotiating and signing the lease, Nina and Zach acted as our advocates with the landlord instead of trying to get us to accept a longer lease.My new roommate and I both agree its been the best experience weve had renting an apartment in nyc.

Since Christiaan works with Nooklyn he has access to hundreds of apartments making it easy for him to take me around Brooklyn and show me all the apartments himself instead of having schedule multiple viewings. Christiaan drove me around to multiple apartments and gave great insight about the neighborhoods! One of the most helpful tips was when Christiaan gave me the inside scoop on which streets to check out for each particular neighborhood. When it came to submitting an application it was also very smooth. We submitted the paperwork on a Tuesday night and got the confirmation Wednesday afternoon that we got our apartment. After running into roommate problems (not through the Nooklyn roommate service) and 4 separate trips to Brooklyn to find the perfect place, we finally found the perfect apartment. There was a point where I was going back and forth with Jason multiple times a day, everyday, for four weeks. He was always available and had remarkable communication at all hours of the day. Not to mention he is completely down to earth which is refreshing for a brooklynite. This dude actually took 30 minutes of his own time to show a potential roommate of mine around Bushwick, selling him on the area and discussing how fantastic it was. *No* other broker has done anything even remotely like that for me; on top of this, Christian spent at least three different full afternoons showing me a slew of apartments, answering (very knowledgeably) any questions I had about each place, and never making me feel rushed.Most agencies leave you on your own; Nooklyn (and in my case, Christian) actually gives you help and guidance, and considering this was my first time moving, I couldnt have appreciated it more. We werent even sure what area we wanted to live in, but our agent Ryan Mclaughlan drove us in his car (so cool) to each property we saw, giving us a tour of each area as we looked, getting a real feel for each neighborhood.
