Comment: Recently we were searching for a roommate situation in NYC for my son. We live 7 hours away from the city, so this undertaking was quite overwhelming. One of the big factors in searching from afar is potentially getting caught up in a spam/ fraud situation.We fortunately came across one of Mr. Musats listings on one of the apartment websites.When I contacted him he was quick to respond with great info. He also did a phone video tour of the apartment right down to measuring the room for us while we were on the video tour.He easily explained the application process and sent the documents via email very quickly. While our application was being reviewed he kept in touch with us. Rooms move very quickly in the NYC market.Whe our application was processing we decided to take an overnight trip to NYC to see the area. Friday we drive up and just as we were arriving to NYC we got a text telling us that our application was approved!We were ecstatic.Mr. Musat even met us on the next afternoon (Saturday!)to show us the apt in person. He also was able to arrange the lease signing that day as well.My son moved in a week later with no problems.I highly recommend Mr. Musat to help you find your home. He is a licensed sales agent in NYC and his brokerage is in the Brooklyn area.His knowledge of the area is very detailed and true to life.One item I would remind anyone searching for a place to do is to make sure you are able to meet the criteria and show proof of the criteria before you venture in to seeing places. The market is renting too fast and you have no time to waste. Mr. Musat makes sure to explain the income requirements, school registration proof letters and/ or job offer letters etc or what you need from your guarantor if you are using one from the beginning. If you dont come close to qualifying then dont waste your time applying.Mr. Musat clearly loves his profession and he is definitely a people person. All of the sudden we were a month out from our move date and panic set in. We were referred to Aurelian by a friend, and within days he found an apartment that we couldnt find online, and which was EXACTLY what we wanted. He got us in to see it the following day, and we immediately decided to put our application in.The next day, someone else submitted an application for the same apartment, but Aurelian fought for us and made us feel comfortable and confident the whole time.
