Frankly, after 10+ years of apartment renting in NYC and London, we were also somewhat out of practice when it came to living in and maintaining a house. Basically we were starting from ground zero in all departments.We hired Steven and Rose as our realtors in Long Island and it was one of the smartest decisions we’ve ever made. Right from day one, they were determined to find us the house of our dreams. They listened carefully to our requirements, patiently answered our MANY questions, and were happy to pick us up from the train station for a last minute showing the Saturday after Christmas. With Steven and Rose, we really reaped the benefits of a highly efficient, motivated team. They have complementary skill sets and delegate between themselves, which meant that we essentially had 24 hour support in our home buying experience. As a silver lining, Steven and Rose are both incredibly kind and encouraging. It was clear to us from the start that their primary motivation was our future happiness, which was reassuring in an otherwise stressful situation. They really wanted to set us up for success. Steven and Rose are professional, communicative, dedicated, passionate, and committed to their clients — what more could you ask for in a real estate team?The process of buying a home is inherently convoluted and opaque. There are so many steps and forms to fill out and we were expecting to feel completely overwhelmed. That never happened because Steven and Rose made themselves available to guide us safely over every hurdle. They were patient. They were thorough. They made sure we understood. The process was still exhausting, but it would have been so much worse if we had not been able to trust our realtors to counsel and advocate for us effectively. We learned quickly that it was easy to trust Steven and Rose with arguably the biggest decision we’ve made as adults.One final note for anyone looking to move to Long Island: Steven and Rose know EVERYONE.
