This process in itself isn’t easy but Levy was very patient with us, he was willing to talk on the phone with me and explain when I didn’t understand certain things or if I had any concerns, he was very understanding, he wasn’t rude or condescending nor did he try to take advantage of our inexperience, he had our best interests and advocated on our behalf to the Landlord. Comment: The housing market right now is awful, and as such, I’ve worked with a wide variety of brokers over the past few weeks and I can honestly say that Levy was the most knowledgeable, honest, kind, responsive and understanding broker that I dealt with. Despite him acting as a broker on behalf of the landlord/owner, he very much cared about easing my anxiety about this whole process and offered me as much information as he could in a kind and caring way. My only regret is not coming into contact with him sooner and hiring him as my rental broker right off the bat.

He made this covid apartment search seamless and even though we never met in person, I felt so comfortable and taken care of. He is an advocate for renters and 100% works on your behalf. We were in a very bad situation with our previous landlord/building and needed to move very quickly and on a tight budget, Levy and his team found us the PERFECT place to call home. Comment: I really loved my experience with Jake Knopfler! I reached out to Jake regarding an apartment, he got back to my right away. Unfortunately the apartment had already had an application on it.About a week or 2 later Jake reached out to me. The deal fell through and he remembered how much I loved this apartment. He was super flexible with my schedule and made sure he was available when I was to see the apartment. He walked me through the application process and really helped me get this place. I’m sure he had other people interested but it was obvious he cared about my situation and wasn’t just trying to make a buck. That was really refershing. He was straight forward gave me all of the details I needed upfront. I would gladly do business with him again!

Comment: After a bit of a nightmare starting out in the NY real estate market, Uptown Flats was a ray of light. Our broker Yossi was helpful, responsive, upfront about fees and timing, and was truly invested in helping us get into an apartment which fit our needs. They knew how desperate I was to find a home and made finding a place in my budget one of their top priorities. There were some bumps in the road, but when are there not?! From first viewing of the apartment to signing the lease only took a week and a half.This was our first time going through a formal apartment application process and we had tons of questions. Simi was easily available by text and email if we had a question and was even emailing with us in real time while we were filling out our application.She followed up with us at every stage of the process, even checking in right after our co-op board interview to see how it went. Comment: I recently found an 2 bedroom apartment in NYC thanks to Yossi. He was very responsive and his answers to all of my questions were always precise and well informed. He gave me good advice that helped me secure the apartment; me and my roommate are internationals so finding an apartment without guarantors or credit history in NYC can be hard and stressful. But this was not the case this time thanks to Yossi! Moreover, when the time came for me to sign the lease, he explained to me every term in it. And the result of this apartment hunting is so far exceeding my expectations: The apartment is lovely and has everything I wished for: it is affordable, spacious, renovated, in a nice building with friendly neighbors and the management company that runs is very responsive (a problem with the pipes occurred shortly after I moved in and they solved in less than 36 hours). Traci was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Always available, and making the process part of it easy - even staying in touch while on vacation. Comment: After being burned and out $300 from a NYC broker with only weeks before starting graduate school at Columbia University I found myself discouraged with the entire process of finding an apartment in the city. That is until I was lucky enough to find Jake, my saving grace! Right from the start he was the perfect mix of being personable and professional. We bonded over both being from the 845 and I immediately felt better about starting the process over with someone who seemed to truly care about my well being as his client. Jake has been the most authentic and attentive realtor I had ever worked with. Jake was always quick with responding to my many calls, emails and texts always available to answer any questions or quell any concerns I had. Any other NYC realtor would have invested less time and energy into securing an apartment without reviving a brokers fee and for three Columbia students no less, but not Jake. He was there for us every step of the process and made us feel like we were his priority at all times. He even tracked down the UPS delivery with our overnight-ed paperwork so that we would not be behind in the process. His fierce determination and boundless compassion are two of the many reasons that I highly recommend anyone looking into beginning the nightmare of a process that is securing a NYC apartment, work with Jake! He will make the process a breeze and he will be your fiercest advocate in getting you into your new home as soon as possible. He is so passionate about finding you a place that you can call home. He is willing to do his best to make sure you are satisfied and happy. I had given up hope in finding a place, however, Levi encouraged me and promised he would find me a place that I love and that I can afford - and he delivered. He walked me though the entire process: Application, viewing and interviewing for the apartment. In addition, he is very well connected and has a great reputation with landlords. He will utilize his resources to help you. You may meet a couple of agents while you are apartment hunting but you will never find one that is honest, effective and determined to find you a home like Levi . Apartment hunting in Manhattan is stressful, however, with Levi its a breeze!

Many NYC brokers especially around the beginning of summer are only focused on numbers and very often are brash, but she actually cared about finding us a place wed be happy with. And never In my previous experience, after signing the lease, the broker became super distant and wouldnt answer any of our questions. Traci still continues to help us make a smooth transition.

Right before I was scheduled to move into my apartment the landlord made a drastic change that I was not happy with. Yet, I had already signed my lease and was supposed to move in the next day. I immediately called Levi and he called me back within an hour and assured me that everything would be how I wanted it in the apartment. I was coming to NYC from out of state and had found it almost impossible to find someone to work with who was flexible enough to arrange the whole process from a distance. Traci did a Facetime viewing, sent me all paperwork in a matter of minutes, got approval within 24 hours, convinced the landlord to do a distance signing (which apparently this landlord never does), and met my significant other to hand over the keys while I was still driving across the country (I got delayed but still needed to have the cable guy let in). She continues to check in to see how the apartment is going. She replies to texts at all hours and has always gotten back to me within an hour or so. Everyone I know is shocked that I managed to get this apartment--it was a huge relief to have it all taken care of before I moved. Very, very satisfied with the experience of working with Uptown Flats. Also thanks to Chevy who was in constant communication with me regarding the actual lease signing.
