Comment: I had a great experience working with Greg Hudson. He helped me secure my new home on the UWS. He was an advocate for me throughout the process, making sure I had all the information needed to make a rental decision and making sure that my application would get accepted. Greg is equal parts friendly, efficient and smart-business.For example, the unit did not have a washer/dryer, so Greg worked with the owner to ensure that one could be installed. He then made sure the lease reflected our discussions, and I now have an in-unit washer/dryer! Im grateful to Greg for making this stressful process much less stressful, and for helping me find my home. I will absolutely turn to Greg in the future for help with any of my NYC housing needs.

Comment: I just wanted to drop a note to say some things about Greg Hudson. Greg helped me find my last apartment 4 years ago, an incredible and spacious apartment in the 70s on the UWS. He also helped me when I had to break that lease this year and find a replacement tenant, and then helped me find a new home on east side that I’m currently settling into nicely.I find Greg’s brain to be brilliant and adaptive to the needs of his tenants preferences. He gets to know us including our little quirks and needs, and then like an tuned instrument, pours his energy down that path. He thinks way outside the box, and is honestly the most diligent, kind and innovative broker I have worked with. He fiercely represents his tenants, and fights hard for our wants. I would go nowhere else to find an apartment in this city.

He was extremely communicative, patient, and friendly, and could be reached at seemingly any hour to answer my questions. New York real estate can be stressful, especially when searching for apartments in the summer, but the process was a breeze with Johnny. I appreciated how upfront and straightforward he was throughout the entire process, especially since there was a lot of competition for the apartment I ended up with.

Comment: Can easily give a 10 star experience working with Mavel Colon! She contacted me within a few hours after an inquiry I had made on apartments DOT com. I was a bit stressed out trying to help my 20 yo daughter find an apartment in the area while I am in Chicago. I live in Chicago and my daughter attends Parson School of Design in NYC, so it was important for us to find something that would give her an easy commute, along with some other specifics we had in mind. She had been living in dorms and this was are first venture for an apartment search. Besides being super friendly and informative, Mavel worked with me remotely, she was very detailed, attentive and personable. She made herself available by phone, text and email, with prompt responses, even at odd hours! Mavel met with my daughter several times at convenient times, for apartment viewing and paperwork. They toured a total of 6 apartments and within 2 weeks, we were signing our lease documents. The process is a bit tedious but no where near lengthy or as time consuming as we thought it would be. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience working with Mavel, and would highly recommend her on your next search for a property in the area. 😊

Comment: A broker is supposed to represent the interests of both the management company and the lessee. More often than not, brokers will tell you this is the best deal youre going to get, so take this apartment NOW. Leah Hasson was patient with me, got me a reduced rent for the apartment I was renting, and even got the management company to let me bring my belongings into the apartment before lease signing. Thats a rarity in NYC and so is Leah Hasson. She is sharp and a go-getter. The two qualities you want in a broker. Would recommend her to all my friends. Thanks, Leah and thank you CitiHabitats!

Comment: I worked with Daniel Wirth as a renter for a rental property in Murray Hill, NYC. He was the agent listing the property on behalf of the current tenant. My experience working with him was seamless, professional and very well organized. This rental was unique in that it was a lease break and as a result there were specific circumstances with this rental. I had never done such a transaction and found Daniel to be very informative and understanding of my inexperience with this. In addition, I found him to be overall extremely responsive of my questions (always answered emails and texts within 30 min), highly knowledgeable of the area I was renting in and also the NYC housing market as a whole, and worked diligently to get the entire process done quickly (I saw the apartment then signed the lease within 5 days). I would strongly recommend him for anyone buying, selling, or looking for a rental.

Comment: “It was great luck that Citi Habitats among thousands of its sales associates, assigned Daniel Wirth to represent my apartment on 8 Spruce street for sublease. It was not an easy task when my building together with many other luxury buildings were offering one month to two and half month free rent to compete for renters. Beyond that our building management has extensive requirements for tenancy and lengthy lease agreement to complete. In this environment Daniel Wirth found me a highly quality tenant within a few days after the ad was out. Not only he showed it on a Saturday and closed the deal for me on the following Tuesday, he assisted the sub leaser (say buyer) step by step to go through the lengthy application process. He never gave me any pressure to close the deal just to benefit himself. He genuinely cares about his clients’ needs. With clarity of mind, knowledge of the market, 1000 % of honesty, ethics and sincerity, he gains full trust of the buyer and seller. It’s not so often one comes across an agent of this high caliber in character and values. One more thing worth mentioning. Daniel Wirth has a great knowledge and experience in real estate who provided great guidance, advice and suggestions to rent the unit out. Comment: Daniel WirthI can not begin to say how stressful the apartment search process is. For myself, at first, I was searching all over and trying to see as many places as possible but nothing ever truly interested me. I came across an apartment for which Daniel was showing, but it did not work out for me. However, Daniel stayed in touch, thought of me and reached back out as soon as he got a listing of new apartments in the area I was interested that hit the market. Within legit 5 minutes of him receiving the list he called me. He called me immediately and wasted no time given how fast studio apartment go. Given how fast he was and how quickly he made it happen I was able to secure a perfect apartment for an AMAZING deal. Daniel was truly unbelievable throughout this entire process. He really made everything so smooth and unlike some of the other brokers I have come across through the apartment search he was completely honest with me and did not play any games. He worked around the clock and was responsive to all my communication. He was an absolute workhorse and just got it done. For anyone looking to rent in NYC, I would for sure recommend Daniel. He has your best interest in his mind and wants too see you happy unlike other brokers in NYC.

Was very trustworthy and knowledgeable. The most important thing was he showed me the ACTUAL apartment featured on the Citi Habitats site, and it was not a bait and switch, which unfortunately happened to me on other sites. Bob responds within minutes, if you have any questions. You would be lucky to work with Bob, if you are looking for an apartment.

Comment: I cant speak for Citi Habitats as a whole, but I can say that Adam Berke is THE BEST agent out there. You must use him!!!!! My roommate and I found Adam through a friend and we honestly could not have found an apartment without him. Adam was so helpful throughout the entire process and made himself immediately available to us literally 24/7 to answer any question (no matter how small or random) we had. By the time we found Adam, we had already created a large spreadsheet of all the apartments we were looking at. Adam went through and added his two-sense about each apartment on the list and added ~20 more that all met our exact needs/budget. Adam also has great relationships with other brokers and realty companies in the area, so he can give you special access to apartments you couldnt get otherwise. Adam spent tons of time making an apartment-viewing itinerary that worked perfectly with our full-time work schedules. Every apartment we saw fit our needs and he was so pleasant to spend time with. Basically, if youre looking to have a pleasant apartment hunt experience, go with Adam Berke. Unlike most NYC brokers, Adam isnt trying to trick you, pressure you, rush you, or take advantage of you. He is a genuine real estate hero and I cannot recommend him enough!

She worked through our endless amount of requests and specifications for our apartment and took us to so many places each day. Very hard worker, good taste, and very patient throughout the entire process. Not a lot of realtors could have dealt with our pickiness but Dicky Tseurate still helped us find an amazing place in our price range and in our ideal location. Great experience, highly recommended.

Comment: This review is for Dicky Tseurate at Citi Habitats. She was amazing. Period. I found 2 perfect places in West Village for a decent price compared to the market in literally 1 day. I have moved several times in NYC before and this NEVER happens. It always takes weeks to find the right place. I highly recommend her. She is also very helpful and flexible with scheduling etc and goes the extra mile to help you find out details from the landlord, figure out key pickup, etc not just another transactional broker like the 100s NYC is full of. Again highly recommended but ask for Dicky and dont just get put through to any realtor.
