Comment: Well what can I say about Gino Bello Homes that you don’t already know… I remember when we first purchase our home on Kathwood Road in White Plains, the HORRIBLE experience we had with Realtors. Our experience was so bad that when we closed on our home, my boyfriend literally said “When I retire and put the house up for sale we are NOT using any Realtors!”Now let’s fast forward to 2023, here we are time came to retire and we decided to do research on selling the property just us by owners, but kept receiving flyers of homes being sold in our area by different realtors. BUT one kept standing out… about every other week we received a flyer from the same Realtors Gino Bello Homes but with different listings… hmmmmmm! Who was these guys and was they really doing so much business…. Time to investigate!So yes, I’m a typical female FBI mode kicked in and started researching them and the sales in the area and even contact the Realtors Board to verify them. Knowing how my boyfriend was after giving him all the data I called them. My first contact was with Gerry and explained how my boyfriend was and he was so down to earth and understood. After that Gerry set up a date and time for me to talk to Gino about everything. I remember speaking to Gino and that’s when I realized my boyfriend doesn’t trust anyone but hearing Gino I knew ~ I FOUND HIS REALTOR!!!GUESS WHAT?? I was right from the day they set an appointment to meet in person and discuss the process, my boyfriend said “I got a good feeling about them, I’m signing with them!”The video and listing they did to sell the property was amazing that I fell in love with our home again! I actually was mad that we was selling it after watching the video of the drone go through our entire property and area.The viewing process was smooth and simple, we had an app on our phone which allowed us to accept or deny viewings.They was there as needed and kept us informed of the entire process and also of feedback they received.Our property was listed I believe for 10 days straight we did viewings and then stopped because we had multiple offers on the property!I can HONESTLY say that our experience with them was great and if you looking to sell or buy I would highly recommend them to anyone! It was going to be our first home, and we were so overwhelmed and we didnt know where to start. My first chat with Gino reassured me that we could find something that works and that our hopes for a home in this area werent impossible! The next few months, we toured several homes with both him and Gerry (an angel sent from above), who would show us a house at the drop of a hat. Day or night, Gino and Gerry were there for us, and no question was too small. We never felt pressured to take action on a home we were uncertain about, and they said to never settle and be patient. They wouldnt rest until they found us a home that was right for us. During each house tour, we learned lessons about home owning and several lessons about the market, and what to look for so we can make informed decisions (shout out to the sun pumps). Comment: Thanks to Gino and his team for working with us for two years. Admittedly, we were probably a bit too selective, as we had limited our search to a 2 mile radius. Still, Gino was patient and responsive and helped us pull it off amidst a very competitive market. After we got into the exact house we wanted, he helped us sell our old house. He helped us stage the house, so when it showed it looked it’s best. Their portal provided us with real time scheduling and feedback for the showings, (there were a lot - 30 in one week), so we were never inconvenienced and always knew what was going on. In the end, we feel that his efforts really helped us get the best deals we could hope for on both sides of the deal(s). So, while I’m certainly in no hurry to go through that process again, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gino and his team.

In both cases, they made what are exciting, fraught, and stressful processes even when there isnt a pandemic as enjoyable and easy as possible.When we were buying our new home Gino & Gerry were always available to us, and gave us what I always found to be objective and reasonable advice without ever sliding into pushing us toward a decision we werent sure about.Both Gino and Gerry always listened to what we liked and disliked, and were able to help us distill what we were really looking for. Over the past 4 years Jen has kept In touch either through a card around the holidays or a random text message if she was in the area. We did a massive renovation to our home and invited Jen over to see it. Not only did she find the time to come by, she made the awesome cookie just like she did when we closed on our home. I felt that having this established relationship with Jen was very important and meaningful, so much so that we are using her to find a home for my in-laws. What else can I say, Jens great!

Comment: When we were looking to move out of NYC and buy our first home, we went with Ginos team based on a friends recommendation. We also went to several open houses on our own, and when we said we were working with Gino, the reactions from the showing agents made it obvious that hes quite the bigwig in the industry. Ginos wife was very pregnant/had a baby while we were in the process, so we mostly dealt with his colleague and good friend Gerry. We really liked Gerry. We jokingly called him the Dreamkiller because he would point out things that we should be wary of that could bite us (or cost us lots of money) down the road. We really liked that he was looking out for us rather than trying to make a quick sale. Once we found the house, Gerry recommended how to proceed to make the offer and navigated through some shenanigans the seller played. They recommend a bunch of great people too. We went with the mortgage servicer he recommended, who held our hand through every step and made it go through without a hitch. I hear so much about closings being stressful and issues coming up, but this guy made it completely smooth (and our lawyer, who was great and reasonably priced and also came based on Gerrys recommendation, said hes never had an issue closing on a house that our mortgage guy handled). He even recommended an agent for homeowners insurance, and we got a rate from him (also got an auto policy) that was far below every other quote we got. Heck, were having renovations done and after meeting with several contractors, were using the guy Gerry recommended (someone he arranged to have meet us at a house that we werent even really interested in, but that needed some updating that other houses we might see might need, just so we would know what would be involved in possible future renovations). Our monthly mortgage/tax payment is less than the rent on NYC apartments we considered. And we have equity. And a yard (and a swingset, and a sandbox, and a garden...). I highly recommend Ginos team to anyone making the move.

Comment: As we interacted with Gino in our search for a house, it quickly became clear why Gino was so good at what he did. His aim was not to just sell us a house, but to ensure we got the house of our dreams. During the entire search process, he never hesitated to advise us on what would work and what would not be a prudent choice for us. He was very knowledgeable on locational benefits, taxes, hidden costs, electrics etc. As we walked through houses in our search, it was comforting to observe Gino watch our expressions as we looked at houses as he tried to understand what we really needed and not just what we were able to articulate. At times when we struggled to make a decision, he made it easier with his response of maybe this has everything youre looking for, but I dont think youve fallen in love yet, we need to keep looking.Today, thanks to Gino we are living in our dream house.
