We had many questions and were very apprehensive, but they addressed our concerns and fears. In that tight, crazy market, Nick and Casey patiently persisted and found us a home that had everything we wanted. They then guided us so that our offer was the one which was chosen from the many that the seller received. This was our first purchase in New York, and the real estate laws were new to us, but their team stayed with us throughout the purchase process, so that it was seamless. I cannot recommend the Mary Wenderlich Team highly enough!

Comment: This team was a recommendation, and Im so glad I took it because I cant speak highly enough for the people working there. I worked primarily with Casey and John, and they went above and beyond in helping me find my new home. Joe was extremely communicative and upbeat, and kept me in the loop for every step of the process and every update I received was clear and concise, and all three of the team members made sure that I felt like I could approach them at any time. When my first deal fell through due to seller issues, they didnt give up on me and encouraged me over the course of many months to hang in there. They gave me multiple loan options, helped me find financing, recommended homeowners insurance, and genuinely made me feel like they cared about me as a person (even checking in via text every few months to wish happy holidays and the like!) My housing search ended up taking over a year due to various circumstances, and not once did they make me feel like I was a burden or that I wasnt good enough to work with them because of my financial situation. Every person in this office is absolutely STELLAR and I could not be more grateful for them. If for any reason I need to go through this process again, I cant think of a single office I would trust more than this one.

Comment: It went AMAZING!!! Nick was our realtor and with his team behind him we had an very great experience. We originally started with someone else at another office but it was not personable and it was getting us nowhere. Nick not only set up frequent notifications of homes in our criteria but he also took us to as many as we wanted. He understood what our needs were and what we were looking for and always gave us his honest opinion. Once we found the house we loved and couldnt get out of our minds him and the team made it happen for us. We expressed to him that we were trying to find and close on our home fast because we were expecting our baby very soon and the team made that possible. We ended up closing in just under 1 1/2 months. Our seller was complicated and very difficult but we did have to deal with it that much because Nick fought for us and took alot of the burden off of us. This could have been a nightmare but Nick made it as stress free as he could. Nick remains to stay in contact with us and has become a friend of ours. We have now been in our home for 2yrs already as of the 19th of this month. We owe it to Nicks dedication to us finding what we were looking for exactly without!!

This went on for couple years he stood by helping each time 100%. While I figure most would have left by this point. I then got into a position to sell and no issues. Most of our free time ended up being in the evening (7 or 8pm), however this was no problem for Nick! He was always incredibly responsive and accommodating, getting us any walkthrough we wanted no matter the short notice. Once we found the house we wanted he assisted us in acting fast to help get an offer together in a couple of hours. It turned out our seller (and her realtor) were very difficult to work with and the seller was actually living on the west coast. We happened to be paired up with John through submitting an inquiry form for a house on Zillow. A few things we noted about John and his team were timeliness, consistent communication, honesty and knowledge.John spoke with us on the phone, set up an initial meeting prior to seeing a house of interest, and sat down to listen to our wants, needs and desires in a house and everything that goes with it. He openly stated that he would not recommend houses to us, but instead set up a personalized search engine that met all of our requirements (city/town, school district, number of bedrooms, attached garage, lot space, etc.) and allow us to choose the houses we wanted to see. We loved this because we didnt want to feel pressured to go through houses that didnt match our interests or budget. Once we found houses of interest, he promptly scheduled appointments with us to walk through the house, being very flexible with our busy schedule. John dedicated much time to us successfully finding a home that we have loved from the moment we stepped inside. Though he did not recommend houses, he gave his honest opinion when inside the house if we asked for it. He never once pushed us in one direction or another, he allowed my parents to come in and ask questions, look around, etc. John had wonderful knowledge of all the surrounding areas, pulled comps and offered suggestions and input through the negotiation process when we put in an offer. John also had a strong list of recommendations for inspectors, electricians, lawyers, etc. to help the entirety of the process go so smoothly.John and the others in the Mary Wenderlich group are sure not to disappoint in any way. They go above and beyond to get the house you are dreaming of, spending time to show and walk through the houses you are interested in seeing, without any pressure to put an offer in. Comment: I cant speak for the entire team but I can speak for John Wenderlich. He handled the sale of my mothers house along with the purchase of her new one. Due to the health issues my parents have, this was certainly not an easy process for a realtor. John made all the necessary adjustments needed and showed compassion and empathy through the entire process. Thanks again John! Its certainly nice to know that there are still business people out there not driven by money alone.
