He has a great understanding of historic houses, and constantly impressed me by noticing old house issues and having a clear sense of what it would take to fix them (both engineering-wise and financially). He understood what I was looking for, kept in close contact throughout the process, and made sure I didnt miss any interesting new listings that fit my criteria. I really felt like he was on my side every step of the way and had all the qualities you could possibly want in a realtor.Johns communication and negotiation skills are excellent, and he was incredibly on-point while making sure to connect everyone on the buying team (mortgage/insurance people, lawyer, etc.) and keep us on track, all the way until the Closing. I knew I could count on his perspective and honesty, and he went way above and beyond the call of duty many times, even calling 9 home inspectors until he found one who could come out at the very last minute. That allowed us to meet a nearly impossible deadline.Besides his project management experience and construction knowledge, John is also a really great and trustworthy person. Going to see potential properties together was always very comfortable. John is open-minded, comfortable with all sorts of people, smart, and kind. Sellers decided to get a divorce two days before we were supposed to set a closing date and stopped cooperating with sale. Most recently, I decided to investigate and then move after happening to walk by a cute, small house in downtown historic Hudson that was for sale. I called Trevor to navigate the purchase with me - and am glad I did, when a competing bid arose at the last minute. His advice was invaluable and I was able to secure the new house. While that was going on, Trevor advised me on the potential sale of my existing house in Hudson. While some fixing up was necessary, he was able to coach me on what was essential to do and what in fact the new owner might prefer to do. Within a day or two of signing my listing contract with Trevor, he had my existing house online and on the market. And after only 2 days on the market, he secured me a full ask offer! A bit of good fortune too, yes, but skillfully thought through and executed by Trevor. He then helped me to stagger and schedule the two closings with only a week-10 days between them, such that I had time to move, but only a short time having to cover carrying costs for both properties. Trevor is a real professional - knowledgeable and thoughtful - and a kind soul to work with. Highly recommend!

Right from the start, Craig was excited, optimistic and eager to accept the opportunity. I am a licensed General Contractor - sustainable professional, who was looking for a “diamond in the rough” so to speak.I currently reside in Texas, therefore the ability to view houses in person was a bit limited. Craig researched several properties for me and eventually sent me a virtual tour of an interesting 200 year old home that he located with a colleague. I was very excited about this particular home. Comment: Searching for the home I intend to spend the rest of my life in was a big challenge. Selecting the right Realtor was important and, in my experience, can make or break a deal. Trevor Moran from the Truss Group is the Realtor I selected. I told Trevor of my desire to buy a house in Hudson, but for me to travel from Florida to Hudson to look was complicated due to Covid-19. Trevor suggested he take me to the homes Wanted to see while we faced timed. Trevor spent the next several hours showing me Hudson. Comment: I sought the opinions of a few realtors a couple months before putting my building in Catskill on the market. Of the two real estate pairs willing to come look at the property and offer guidance, one said they would suggest listing the property starting in the 129k-135k range. I thought they were probably correct. But I then gave a walk-through to the Truss Group guys, Andrew and Trevor (the broker). They gave some very detailed advice on a bunch of little things I could do to improve the curb appeal of the building in the couple months before listing and said they would then start it at 189k. I followed their advice and called them a couple times to get further advice. When the time came to list it, they took the time to take really good pictures and they got along well with the tenants while doing so. There ended up just being a couple of showings and then Andrew and Trevor walked me through the unexpected (for me) situation of having multiple offers on the place within the first week on the market. First I listed my house with a different agent and agency but in 6 MONTHS at the best time (spring and summer), there was some interest but no offer at all. Comment: Given Trevors vast experience, I was initially hesitant to reach out to him. Our price range for a second home was relatively modest (150-225k). I wasnt sure if our range was frankly worth his time. That said, Trevor and the Truss Group treated us like million-dollar clients, each and every step of the way. Trevor is extremely patient, thoughtful and above all, wicked smart.Thankfully we secured a home and we couldn’t be happier!
