To highlight the extent of this accomplishment, I must share that:Im a single mom, first time homebuyer, with a very modest budget, purchasing in the aggressively competitive post-pandemic market.Im also a salsa dancer and yoga instructor, and one of my pipe dreams was to be able to host dance & movement classes at my house.Well... Mark found me a home in my desired area, within my budget, that *just so happened* to have an open-space addition where I now host dance parties and yoga classes!Mark showed me dozens of properties. I had so many questions about the home buying & homeownership process, and he supported and empowered me the entire journey. No question was too naive or stupid, and there was no problem that couldnt be fixed.He also went to bat for me when I found the property I can now enthusiastically call a *VERY* happy home to me and my girls!I cannot more highly praise Updegraff Group Realty. Comment: Mark Updegraff helped us with two home purchases; one in Tucson, AZ and one in Williamsport, PA. Both times he was instrumental in breaking down the fundamentals of the local market and illustrating the value through both broad and local trends. He helped us formulate a pro forma analysis of the properties, though we would be living there. Our first purchase is worth more than double what we paid for it with very modest improvements and we’ve kept it as a high cash flowing investment property for our retirement. Our second home will most likely be our forever home, and he helped settle our nerves purchasing an older Victorian. He was alway prompt and professional though he wouldn’t receive any compensation for his help. Mark is a hard working, 21st century real estate professional that is never too busy to help others. His passion for real estate is contagious and I would recommend his expertise to anyone that is involved in buying or selling of a home. I couldn’t be happier with the results, and without his advise I’m sure someone else would have ended up with both our homes. We’re currently looking into buying more investment property and will be working with him remotely in the Rochester market!
