Comment: Worked with John in 2016 when I was looking to buy my first home. I had a specific neighborhood I was familiar with that I was targeting. John had me download an app on my phone to get alerts when homes in my price range and target area became for sale. I got an alert one night that a house in my target neighborhood was listed. I got with John right away and we got a showing first thing in the AM. I knew I wanted it and quickly submitted an offer. Thankfully we got to it right away because even with quick action I learned that there were 2 other offers submitted as well. However, we were able to negotiate the winning deal for a fair price. 7 years later Im still in the home and couldnt be happier with it or the services John provided.

Comment: This is the second time Dave MacKenzie and the Property Shop helped us through the home buying process, and all I can say is thank God he did. As opposed to our first-time home buying experience as a newly married couple (aka, relatively simple) there were so many more moving parts this time around. Selling our current house, using the proceeds to buy another, multiple inspections, even more paperwork, coordinating movers and closing dates, etc. He was available to us morning, noon, and night to talk us through contract language, pricing, timing, all the emotions that come along with big-time purchases in an ever-changing market, logistics, you name it. I dont think theres a harder working agent out there. We found our dream home, and he even helped us get more than we expected in the deal! Im praying this is our last move, but if life were to deal us a different hand, theres no doubt Dave would be helping us through this process for a third time.

Fast forward to summer of 2022, we had outgrown the house we called home for those five years. There was no question who to call. Dave mentioned that he had clients looking for a house in our area and asked if he could show it on short notice - we agreed and within a few days an agreement was reached for the new owners to purchase...the house never hit the market. The next step was to find a new property. Dave helped research homes that fit our wish list and set up a number of walkthroughs. Within two weeks we identified, walked through, and came to an agreement with the sellers on our new house!We went through the homebuying process with Dave twice, and both times were seamless. I attribute much of that to Daves commitment to excellent communication and dedication to seeing his clients happy. He was with us every step of the way from selecting a lender, home inspector, attorney, etc. and each referral he provided was professional and made the process a breeze. Through the process I wondered how he could handle so many balls in the air at once with ease - - home buying is supposed to be stressful (so Ive heard)...he made it enjoyable!
